    This really annoys me. Ive heard people say bands they don't like are rubbish and 90% of thevtime, they just mean "this band doesn't fit my taste". If they've made it to the radio/tv/big festival then its highly unlikely they are rubbish. Personally I don't like Taylor Swift but I appreciate she is excellent at what she does. I really can't stand classic rock but those bands probably influenced the bands who influenced my favourite bands. Simply Red however, are just rubbish.

    Indeed. My brother, who is also the guitarist in one of my bands, is undergoing chemo for stage 4 cancer. We’ve managed to keep gigging while he’s still feeling well enough to do so, but that will come to an end at some point in the future. One of its many impacts has been this focus on the present moment rather than a future which may not happen. I’m guilty as charged of being busy now on things that will pay dividends in future, but the current situation is bringing home to me the importance of making the most of present time as well.

    It wouldn't be the first time I'd been called analytical, and maybe that's not always a helpful skill - though I evaluate people quite quickly on their ability to have a balanced and nuanced discussion and oft wonder why they are quick to dismiss without substance to back it up.

    I would have gladly traded up my B1-4, which has the same chip set as your B3n, for a B2-4. But I keep come back to the editing software on the B2-4 only being for iOS and and not Android/PC. Why?!

    I scrolled over a post by Neural Amp Modeller's creator Steve 'Ack' Atkinson earlier and he'd had some links to how Neural Modelling has been able to capture compression and tremelo effects previously. He congratulated the NDSP team for being able to package the technology - it's exciting times if but mind boggling! I used to think that stem splitting would be near impossible but it's getting better with every new update. Exciting times indeed! I've loaded the OS update and, when I have some time free from recording and editing a top secret video for a new product release, I'll be putting QC through its paces!

    Well-used Keeley Bassist compressor, in fully working condition. Cosmetically it’s not in great nick, but functionally it’s exactly as it should be. Includes original box manual / paperwork Velcro on the base, as it’s lived on a board. Anyone who knows the Bassist will know how good these are, simple, transparent, and very effective compression. £90 Happy to meet in / around Edinburgh, or can post for around £10 UK at buyer’s cost.

    4: I nearly have that reaction to The Beatles - but it's not the music as such, it's JL's whiny voice. I think L&M were stellar songwriters and I have a massive collection of covers by other artists. I love the songs. I just can't help thinking how much more popular they would have been with a real singer....

    I’d have added: 3: Music that you don’t have an opinion of and don’t really mind if it’s playing in the background. 4: Music that you’d leave a pint in a pub to get far enough away from the building so that you can’t hear the music.
