Feeling fancy with this one:

The Ampeg Rocket Bass combos have the same style Rolex and grille as the cabs that go with the PF50T. The B100R is a cool amp too, if you can find one.

The Fender Bassman TV is a great sounding amp, and available in various sizes (10, 12, 15 and 2x10" configurations). Quite heavy, but if it's not getting moved much it's an interesting option.

I had been doing them with a very janky sort of approach that was made very annoying by iOS refusing to mix my interface together properly. I was using a powered board in that vid but I really wanted something more portable that I could go direct with just a battery powered compressor pedal. Then I could sit in the garden with my headphones and play along too. So this new Roland unit seems to be a great idea for a battery powered option. I then trimmed the video using the free version of Capcut. It's pretty good!

Incidentally, the pcb does look rather close to the metal case - is there insulation on the underside?

One of my sons "borrowed" my B2A some years ago, so I don't have access to it just now (it does have the XLR output). Hopefully the wiring diagram further up the thread helps - if not, let me know and I will ask him to send me a photo of the wiring.

I found a couple of used ones on eBay, but I think the new version is https://www.roland.com/us/products/gomixer_pro-x/. A bit more expensive but I'm thinking about new version - as well as the IG stuff, it would be great for creating live performance promo clips for a couple of bands that I'm involved in.

Agreed. I was "chased" out of Guitar Guitar just last week by a young would-be slap-bass player who was set up to demo a bass literally less than 3 metres from where I was quietly noodling. He was loud and sounded awful. Bad marks to both him and to the staff for not separating us. The Epsom branch is huge so there was no need. Rant over,back to the topic 😂

I think there are enough springs to change them all. However I would try the bad one first and cry for help needed.

Hi guys, where can I find a gold anodized pickguard for the Fender Vintera II Bass VI? Person on the picture attached don't bother to reply to messages ... Looks like the Squier version of the pickguard don't fit. Thank you!
