  2. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think that you can connect those two together. The Zoom is an Fx, with no amp, and the Markbass is a cab, that needs to be driven by an amp. The connectors on the cab are SpeakOns, used for connecting amps to cabs; the Zoom has no such functionality. You will need an amp of some sort, preferably one with a SpeakOn output connector, to enable use of a simple double-ended SpeakOn lead between amp and cab. The Zoom would be plugged into the input of said amp. Hope this helps, and apologies if I'm wrong.

  4. This is a beautiful custom made bass by andyjr1515. It is a PJ design with a chambered alder body and camphor burl top. There is a thread in the build diaries section. If I knew how to link it I would. All the details are on there. I have changed the electrics to Seymour Duncan pickups and I put a pickup selector in rather than the blend pot that was originally there. It’s in really good condition and plays great. The neck is very Warwick like in feel with possibly the thickest chunk of ebony I’ve ever seen for the fretboard. It’s also very light. Comes with a gig bag. I would prefer either collection or a meet up. If you require any more details don’t hesitate to contact me or check the build diary.
  5. ***PRICE DROP NOW £1300*** 2010 US Stingray, 2EQ, CAR with rosewood board. One of the limited edition 133 basses, full fat ‘ray but with a soft gig bag case instead of a hard shell job. This is in excellent condition with one very minor ding on the top edge, and the pickguard is quite marked but obviously easily replaceable. Comes with a Hipshot D-tuner (long key though instead of short… doh), if you want the original tuner key I’ll chuck it in. I’ve also replaced the pickup with a Nordstrand MM4.2, which sounds flippin’ great. She’s quite heavy (10lb) but with a decent wide strap it feels ok. ***EDIT*** now comes with the option of a Warwick Rockbass semi-rigid case - photos added. Loathe to post this but can at buyer’s (insured) expense, or can meet in person at either Portsmouth, Southsea, Southampton or Lymington (I’m on the I.O.W.)

  11. Having inadvertently hijacked an earlier thread, and at @snorkie635's suggestion, has anyone given themselves a stage name? My original post suggested place names were a good source, and, had I been a lot funkier mine would have been Rufus Stone. Once my Americana band gets gigging I'm thinking of going with the local 'beauty spot' Clent Hills. What's yours, and how did you come by it?
  12. Doesn't warrant a new thread so I'll ask here but does anyone know what lead I'd need to connect the zoom b3 to my Markbass Traveler 102p? I'm guessing it would be through the XLR but there are so many options of leads I don't want to purchase one to find it's the wrong one

  14. The corners fitted to LFSys cabs are the same as used by other manufacturers. They act as corners and feet, and help lock the top cabinet onto the bottom cab of a stack. They're very hard wearing, but are easily replaced should they wear out or become damaged. I'm not sure what's going on with @tubbybloke68's Monzas, but I'll be seeing Jeff at the SE Bash and will take a look then. There's should be no problem fitting feet to the bottom of the cabs as long as you use the right screws. I fit them at no extra charge when asked, although it's only ever happened once. I can also rotate the horn and the grille badge if a customer wants to use the cab horizontally, which is what you can see in @NHM's Monaco above.
  15. Is that the wrong link for this one Rob ? Nice song tho. Dave

  17. No problem, this has an active BTS circuit and the battery is mounted under the control plate. It has bass & treble cut and boost on the preamp.

  19. I think you have an idea for an awesome new thread there Gladys.
  20. You will also need a wireless router, but everyone has 7 of those in the attic.
  21. Greatest excuse of all, no way of proving them wrong or right.
  22. SD QP pickup for a long since departed project. Pole peices have oxidised a little, I’m sure it’ll disappear when a round wound string vibrates against it a few times. Includes pickup screws and plastic risers as well as the box and instructions. Price includes UK postage.
