Foghorn

Last year I purchased a Hartke KB15 bass combo. I had recently (very reluctantly) parted with my 2 x Aguilar GS112s so was nervous at going into cheaper territory. However, I need not have worried. The KB15 is a beast. Very light weight with Neo driver but really packs a punch. I play soul and funk via a Fender American P-bass 5. I turned up at a club gig recently and the front of house saw the size of my amp and immediately ran on stage to give it a DI cable. At half time he returned and said my sound was massive and no need for DI. I haven't done a gig yet with it more than half way on the volume control. There are some lack of options in the tone shaping department and the look is a little mundane. But as a small to medium size venue live amp its killer.
