I'm wondering how many 20 fret players regularly use them all. -

Rickenbacker bridge pickup height screws

I meant the ones in @ikay's post. 🙂 The bobbin sits on top of a magnet which is glued to the base. But the bobbin itself is held on by those two screws underneath. -

I've loosened those screws before (just a smidge) and just coaxed the bobbin into alignment. Beware that those wires are quite fragile. -
This is the one. The blurb. The bass: It’s the bedrock of any performance, demanding nothing short of tonal excellence. It’s inspired by a trio of iconic tones; It’s fuelled by 200V and genuine tube power; It’s born to assimilate into a myriad of usage scenarios; it gives you edge when you need it, thanks to an integrated Drive Channel Dry/Wet Blend

This pedalboard has been never used out side my shed/den/office/hideaway. I loaded it many times in different configurations, so it show minimum signs of wear. Here’s the small one I had it loaded an then bought the large one. This is the first iteration of the big one. https://nuxaudio.com/product/bumblebee/

I'm more interested in seeing the internals to get an idea of what actual circuit they're using, or how they're doing DSP. It looks like the ST-200 uses a MM74HC
-
Picked this up on here a couple of years ago with an idea in mind, but never ended up using it. It’s been sat in drawer all that time. Condition is fair. It has a few scratches and the box is very tatty, but it’s fully functional. I paid £50 and am hoping to get my money back. Will include postage for that price.

2025 SE Bass Basheroonie! Sunday 9/11/25 *CONFIRMED*
NancyJohnson replied to NancyJohnson's topic in Events
We have two rooms here, one with a little stage. We're putting on the timed stuff on the staged area (see post #1); it's feasible that you could do something in the second room, but obviously there's no guarantee of an audience, given the crossover in the main room. -
Bought a phone from Craig. It arrived super fast and exactly as described. All was good 😁 Thanks again Craig.

2025 SE Bass Basheroonie! Sunday 9/11/25 *CONFIRMED*
knirirr replied to NancyJohnson's topic in Events
I suppose it would depend; an EUB could be anything from what is essentially a bass guitar placed upright on a stand to a double bass with no body, perhaps free standing, leaning against the player or even on a strap. The only ones I've tried are my current one (a DB stand-in with 41.5" scale) and a 5-string BG-on-a-stand with 38" scale which I had years ago but sold. In both cases I was able to find a DB teacher willing to assist me. My guess is that the Stagg bass being discussed on the other thread is very much like a DB. As it happens, a BG player who comes to the local jam told me he'd got one and was having lessons from a good pro teacher nearby. -

Rickenbacker bridge pickup height screws
ikay replied to Woodinblack's topic in Repairs and Technical
The bobbin should be attached to the caddy by two phillips head screws as in the pic below. The screw holes in the bobbin are often slightly off centre from the factory, hence the wonky alignment. Easy enough to adjust by slightly filing out the holes in the caddy to provide enough wiggle room to set it straight. -
Dave bought a cab from me. Great lad to deal with, friendly, great comms, fast payment. As good as it gets chaps 😁 Thanks again Dave.

Backline the vast majority of the time. Bigger gigs where we have full PA will use the DI out

Agreed re the 24 fret thing being mostly unnecessary and not as good for slap. My personal choice wound be a 4 string with 21 frets as a slap bass and for most live stuff, and a 5 string 24 fret for jazzy noodling. -
