  1. Past hour
  2. ... and we then reversed the deal as it suited both of us. The BC circle of life, haha. All good as before!
  3. Wasn't sure of the going ra tevon these... £380 seems fair?
  4. My right hand fingers have twisted which makes keyboards difficult as all the fingers get in the way of each other. Fingers to pick on the bass is ok though little finger tends to get ignored as twisted too far a slightly shorter, as is the index finger by a bit over quarter of an inch than the left hand after the first knuckles (hand to finger rather than second or third on the finger) were replaced 10+ years ago. if I had to have the same replacement on my left hand I would as it worked/works well on the right hand.
  5. Look loverly that, once ya swap out that Tort for a BWB... 😉
  6. I'd go with a switch: ser/par, or ser/single. The more you put pots to the signal, the less you get highs when the impedance gets lower. Every pot in a signal means that they act as tones, too. That's why I like Mixpot.
  7. Barely used Dingwall case measuring 50" in length. In near perfect condition and highly padded with numerous fancy pockets for tools, cables and the like. Bass not included. £75 shipping UK £8

    In Memoriam

Oh wow, So sad to hear of @Mrs Tinman's passing. I remember having a few chats with her on here and FB years ago and she was always funny and kind. All the best to @Tinman and your wider family.
  9. Price drop to £375. Now located near Wisbech.
  10. Dropped to £200, without the spare strings I was originally including. This bass is in hardly used, mint condition.
  11. I should clarify - they sold out of the thing I wanted when I ordered it. Getting new batches of instruments can take months to get manufactured, not super bothered about it. I'm impressed that the idea that pre-bankruptcy orders would be honoured by the newco has even been floated - had written it off in all honesty. But it might still all come to nothing - that's what I mean by the wait and see.

  15. You Can’t Touch This - MC Hammer
  16. As new still sealed in packs, 3 sets available £11.50 per set including postage. I have been trying various brands of strings on a number of basses, whilst these are very nice I'm going to Dunlop's for my fretted Warwick. To my ears the Eden's seem similar to Rotosounds, maybe not quite as 'zingy' initially.

  17. Kent Armstrong Bass Humbucker for a 4 string bass. Circa 1990 when I purchased new and still in excellent condition and virtually unmarked. It's been in two of my basses over the last 35 years and sounds great. I think these were handmade, add £7.00 for UK insured postage.

  18. Tell you when/if they fulfil my order from September last year...
  19. Good news........ But does the collective feel confident that an order, particularly an expensive one, and one that requires a wait, would be fulfilled...?
  20. Hi, Free State Revolution are seeking a bassist to fill a busy schedule of gigs throughout the year. We play a mixture of pop, indie and rock music through the decades, all covers. 23. All prices include postage to the UK. Cut for a sire V5R (four in line): LaBella Deep Talkin’ 760FS with no E string (45, 65, 85). Handy for spares as LaBella don't sell singles of these. £30 D'Addario XL. Two sets, both either 45-105 or 45-100. £10 Cut for a Stingray (short G string): Ernie Ball Super Slinky (45-100) £10
  24. Two lightly used EMG TBTW pickups, with all originally provided parts, cables, etc. and original packaging. In full working order. These contain both a jazz and a humbucking pickup, with a push-pull knob to switch between the two. The jazz is hum cancelling with a phantom coil when in use. I had these in a 70s jazz spacing, and the switching between different pickup types plus the normal jazz-style volume-volume-tone gives a nice variety of tones. https://www.emgpickups.com/tbtw.html £70 each or £130 for the pair, posted to the uk. Contact me for postage elsewhere.
