  1. Past hour
  2. This has to be BS. You could be an influencer with a story like that. 😁
  3. Do you want a medal ?
  4. As usual, I was first out. Probably be the same next year, knowing Line 6. Waiting for Helix Stadium
  5. S'what I just posted, dumpling..! ...
  6. What is a "best answer"?
  7. Do you have a link?
  8. i've had the previous model for abour 5/6 years and it's been a rock - the only annoying feature is the DI/Tuner our being underneath at back - annoys me each gig - good to see that stuff on top now - if they could make one with the MB compressor then it'd be perfect - great amps - bought the extension took it to Newcastle City Hall and it was way too much said the engineer- sold the can - just been using the combo - light and loud - all you need
  9. If you have to ask, you wouldn't qualify. ... (Sorry, just a quip. Here's the answer...)
  10. Nice but quite steep for what is not much more than an extra 2” on a G2220 neck and a modified body shape. Good to have another reasonably priced medium scale around though.
  11. Hey, I'm super helpful! Where's my damn badge?
  12. So what are the other two badges?
  13. An amicable band split - gave me an idea for a new thread:
  14. In another thread a forum member mentioned a band finishing with "everyone remaining chums". While I applaud this band for its maturity, I don't think I've ever had a band finish without never talking to at least someone again (which I fear says something about me...). My least amicable split was when we accidentally dropped a flight case on our singers tambourine that she referred to as her "instrument". In pennance the guitarist and I went to a music shop to buy her a new one but she didn't like the sound. Thus followed an argument along the lines of "but they all sound the same"... "no they don't"... "well you don't have to play it because it annoys everyone anyway"... etc. and the nickname "Jingle Bells" being coined. I think we only lasted one or two more gigs! I'm sure others can better this!
  15. Hold my beer........🤣
  16. I have the previous model to this (IV) and I can honestly tell you that these are fantastic amps. On its own it'll handle any band rehearsal you throw it into. Live, I use mine in conjunction with a New York 121 cab (on which it stacks perfectly with the specially shaped corners) for a super loud 500W 2x1x12 stack. But I'm pretty sure the combo on its own would give it a right good go GLWTS
  17. looks better IRL
  18. Yep, this is red and green lasers, and LED backfill
  19. Great looking bass, beautiful dark rosewood board makes a really good contrast with the stripped body.
  20. Very sad, I know that East have also suffered with component problems which is why the P-Retro was discontinued
  21. That's sad and happy at the same time Steve. Glad you've all remained the great friends you've always been. Makes sense. All the very best on 7th Oct. Should be a fantastic night with so much emotion. Dave
  22. I don’t normally like stripped basses, but that is a lovely finish
  23. That was Steps
  24. Mouldy Old Dough & Crazy Horses, loved them as a kid, and still do now. Used to do Crazy Horses in an old band, complete with the cross-legged dance thing they used to do.
  25. Don't they usually just put a room mic inside a rotting goat carcass?
  26. I've heard the story of it being double-tracked with an acoustic bass for years, I'd never have guessed that by just hearing the song but I have always thought the bass on that song sounds different to the rest of the album. Rain When I Die and Rooster, for example, both sound like a regular Spector tone to me.
