  1. Past hour
  2. Those robotic autotuner things.. what the actual 🤯 guitarist leaves amp on and robot tunefail commences. kill them with fire.
  3. Got the box together, put the driver in to see how it sounds. Disappointing! Loud as hell, but very bass-heavy to the point of woolly. But that’s ok, as there is still work to do (aside from making it pretty) 1. The port was bought, and is a cm or two short. I will extend it with something suitable. 2. I will also stick wadding to the inside (I’m sure I can hear a difference). 3. I think some additional bracing would help, too. There’s just about space to put one on the baffle between the driver and port at a 45 degree angle. 4. I also have a bit of tecsound deadening material left over from the studio to stick to the back panel. I didn’t fancy a normal backplate (why make life easy for myself?) so I recessed the Speakon. Quite like it. The top-mounted handle is a bit big, or the feet I bought for the amp are a bit short. Will have to purchase bigger feet.
  4. Thats a lovely clean Precision Pow, the rout would not bother me either, out of sight out on mind. Your health to enjoy it
  5. He really is in the pocket on that album...Lovely rich tone as well.

  17. @King Tut I’ve done the scientific weigh myself three times, weigh me and the bass three times, and then take the average difference between the two, and the bass weighs 4.4kg (or 9.7lbs for those who prefer old money).
  18. I did read somewhere a long time back that the colour came about after a mistake mixing, and they liked it , not sure how true it is
  19. Picked this up on here a couple of years ago with an idea in mind, but never ended up using it. It’s been sat in drawer all that time. Condition is fair. It has a few scratches and the box is very tatty, but it’s fully functional. I paid £50 and am hoping to get my money back. Will include postage for that price. Price reduced to £40
  20. Lazy Bear 4 way pedalboard patchbay. Little chip on the bottom which I did today whilst removing dual lock tape. Turned the air blue, I did. Other than that, it’s in excellent condition. £20 posted.
  21. Red Panda Bit Mixer. 3 mono ins, 1 mono out. Ultra low noise/distortion. Made in USA. Accepts line level as well as instrument level sources. In excellent condition, not a mark on it. With original box. £80 posted.
  22. Doesn't say why it was named Antigua? I have never been, but I would expect it to be all bright tropical colours so not an obvious match.
  23. Unfortunately i don't have an amp here at the moment as it is at our studio so haven't heard her fully sing yet. Acoustically she is very vibrant and resonant, great neck and very well set up from @Willfunk at Bass Bros. As per the original advert - she has a route under the pickguard presumably for some previous active electronics, you cant tell at all with the pickguard on tho and in person the route is much smaller than the pics suggested. Original pickups are back in situ and the only non original parts seems to be the pots and the plastic pickup covers. I have a battered old bridge cover that ill stick on and ill seek out a suitably worn looking thumb rest. I do have some worn looking pup covers but the lugs are too large for the pickguard so will source some others. Look forward to getting the amp back from the studio to hear her properly. After that, despite being a flats player, this will get a set of Fender 7150's (the pure nickels) and become my number 1
