I already do all of that with my Helix Floor. Preset and Snapshot changes are controlled via MIDI from the computer that runs the drums and second synth part. Selecting a song also selects the correct Preset on the Helix and then the Snapshots change in the correct place as the song plays. On some songs then Snapshots change every two bars in places which mean that if the computer wasn't doing it for me I'd pretty much be glued to my pedals for those. We have a song we're currently working on where some of the changes only last a beat or two!

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?

Can you not start rehearsals at 7 instead..? Or have the others rehearse without you for the first hour (BV, for instance, or segue ideas..?). Just a thought. -
Gosh, what a horrible time to be a top quality bass gear reviewer! Neural DSP, Darkglass and now Line 6 all bringing out new toys! Mwah ha ha ha!!

Slimming down my studio gear at present, aiming to only have what I need rather than a lot of spare capacity! This has been very well looked after and has probably ad no more than 200hours use (still has the plastic stuff on the display!). I only use it for tracking as I use a UAD Satellite to manage plugins while mixing. Come with all original packaging/documentation. Happy to courier or for collection in person in Whitstable or London Also moving on a pair of Towsend Labs/UAD L22 Sphere modelling mics here

It's in very good hands with JS. I've had basses that have been made by him, and one that went to him for a respray to gloss black. Brilliant service, and a top guy...⭐ -

If you don’t need a modeller/floor unit that can sync/automation of sound/preset changes for songs then the existing units will be pretty useful. I think the ‘Stadium’ moniker alludes to the touring artists where preset changes etc are all triggered to specific album/recoded tones and to me at least suggests a pro touring musician who would benefit from a unit which can be set up for a tour and take the fuss out of changing presets while they focus on their choreography 😀 It got a lot going on!

The reason I'm excited by the Anagram is that it does pretty much everything I do in my Helix LT in a Stomp sized package - saturation or not (although I'm sure it will come). The Stadium's are built upon a very mature platform, and are more powerful than I need (not to mention bigger). The Anagram is astonishing for a v1 product, and I'm sure it will only improve over time if Darkglass stick to their promises. If anything, it shows Line 6 what people expect from a refreshed Stomp, if they make one.

I've posted on here on the past about how I liked D'Addario rounds and I kill EB Slinkys within a week... however, a couple of years have passed and as is often the way I've now done a complete 180 on this opinion! I've been putting EB Slinkys on everything where I need rounds and have come to love their sound, including crucially the way they age. It may be due to me moving almost exclusively to short scale, but at 30" scale I now find D'Addarios and Elixirs are a bit pingy and insubstantial on the lower frets of the E string, like they produce odd harmonics that overshadow the fundamental or something. The Slinkys sound a lot more solid in that range. Plus they also have the smoother feel so less finger noise and chewed up finger tips.

PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £300. Easily the best speaker cabinet I have ever used: am downsizing to lighter Genz Benz cabs as I rarely play live now. The Eden D210XST Cab is loud enough to be heard and yet still small enough to be used at home or in a small studio. For those players who need a portable, high-performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10" cabinet for their XST woofers. Punchy and clean, the D210XST produces a full and clear tone through its two 10" speakers. It's excellent for delivering articulate bass lines with volume. This 2 x 10" cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10" cabs on the market. The D210XST offers huge bottom end with its cleverly-designed tuned and ported cabinet construction and speaker selection: the low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well-defined and the highs are clear and crisp. Durable build quality makes this ideal for touring and live performances. All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8" thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory in the USA. Very Good condition. Comes with an official Eden cover. Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms Speakers: 2x10" Eden-spec Eminence EC1060XS speakers Tweeter: Eden Cast Bell low distortion Crossover: 3.5KHz @ 18dB Frequency Response: 30Hz - 14KHz Sensitivity: 103dB SPL Connections: Parallel 1/4 Inch and Speakon Dimensions: 23" w x 18" h x 18.5" d Weight: 59lbs / 26.8kg NOW ONLY £300. Collection from East London preferred, although happy for buyer to arrange a courier.

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?

Getting ready for a run of two gigs in Wales this weekend (The Pit at McCann's in Newport on Friday, Fuel in Cardiff on Saturday). Got a few issues with a new song ironed out, so it should be all good. I do find I struggle with the timings for weeknight practices though. We do 6-10 at a local place, but finishing work at 4:30 so I can do the nursery run, where my daughter has decided that she wants to walk to/from nursery (and I don't want the fight of trying to get her in the pram!) means I get home at 5:20, quickly try and make something for dinner and get my stuff ready and wait for my wife to get back, try not to burn my mouth as I inhale dinner and then get out of the door... It's a challenge that seems to put me on the backfoot for practice.
