  2. SIT Foundations NPS 45-105 Used for project bass, now disassembled. Cut for Fender style head. Approximately 20 hours play time. Like Dunlop Superbrights? You'll love these. £12.50 posted.
  3. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
  4. La Bella 760FX Flatwound Strings Used for approximately 4 hours. Cut for Fender style head. £30 including postage.
  5. I've just realised we're now just over 3/4 of the way through the year. Well done to all those still in, and a scornful, finger wagging, shame on you to all those that have caved in to the shiny temptation of new gear. I'm currently being tempted by another bass that I don't need, or really want. A fairly hideous Kay rickenbacker faker with the wrong pickup and pickguard... But it is only £5!
  6. Creating professional-quality video content requires more than just vision — it requires the right tools. From cinema cameras and lenses to lighting and audio equipment, having the proper gear can make all the difference in producing cinematic visuals. To make this accessible to filmmakers, brands, and creators, 9X Production Company offers an easy and affordable way to rent camera gear for any type of project. Choosing to rent camera gear from 9X Production Company provides several advantages: Cost-Effective – Avoid heavy upfront costs of buying expensive equipment. Access to Latest Technology – Get hands on the newest cameras, lenses, and accessories without worrying about upgrades. Flexibility – Rent only what you need, when you need it. Professional Results – Use top-tier gear that delivers cinematic quality for every shoot.

  11. That’s exactly how it should be @Bluewine serve the song and make the glasses rattle … and be funky
  12. Dave, I'm not sure you'll be able to access the video clip. I know you use earbuds. You'll be able to hear my " meat and potatoes " bass lines. Nothing fancy. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1K5pZJcYJe/ Daryl
  13. I've had a 424x and 1024x, I still own the 424x. In fairness I had already done a reverse P mod on the 424 so would probably lesson it's resale value against the 1024, but I genuinely prefer the tone of the 424 over the 1024. It sounds slightly more aggressive compared to the more sedate 1024. At the time I remember likening them to a gobby teenager and an elder gentleman. I couldn't really campare fairly though as one had halfrounds and a reverse P, the other coated rounds and a standard P. I think if I could have two again I'd have a 414 and a 1024, a 2024 would be great but out of my price range I think. As for your dilemma, I think if they weren't too far apart in price I'd have the 1025, if you struggled to justify the extra for the 1025 then I'd be perfectly happy with the 425. I have several Yamahas and every one is an excellent bass.
  14. Markbass 1 15 lightweight cabinet. Started life as a Markbass CMD JB Players School Combo but the amp failed. The amp was disposed of leaving a cheap and cheerful lightweight 1 15 cabinet 200w 8ohm. Unconventional connector- has fixed cable original to combo with speak-on plug attached Approx. dimensions (W x H x D): 47.5 x 46.4 x 48 cm Weight: a very manageable 14 kg, easy one hand lift looking for £125 collect meet up. Will be able to courier once I’ve sourced packaging material’s
  15. It looks beautiful and ticks all the boxes for me apart from the finish - at that price it should have a nitro finish, the new Roadworn Precisions do. Mind you, as a signature bass, perhaps Ms Lee didn't want it!
  16. Cheap Day Return - Jethro Tull
  17. Yes, it's quite rare, and it works really well too - lovely tone, and the bass is exceptionally comfortable when sitting and playing...a godsend for my glass back.
  18. I got an American Original Jazz Bass second hand and a stacked knob wiring loom + plate for less than £1400. It’s actually getting daft how expensive new Mex Fenders are these days!
  19. Nice gig! Daryl
  20. Cracking bass, cracking price. Won’t be here long!
  21. Today
  22. Great little mono synth (although can do paraphonic) with an analogue delay. This is the Reissue, NOT the V3 or even the original. Sounds fantastic and comes boxed with USB lead and ribbon lead if you want to connect it to eurorack. I’ve barely used it since I bought it as I’ve been concentrating on playing piano and organ. Excellent condition.
