  2. Unfortunately, yes.
  3. Bought a strap, it was despatched quickly, packed suitably, and as described - one happy customer.

  5. DG have responded on TB that the engineer is perhaps mistaken as they are still investigating the issue: We’re still investigating the issue. The message Chris shared was a response from one of our engineers, forwarded in good faith. Yet this is not a final verdict. Anagram is thought to be a community-driven platform, which means we listen rather than set and forget.
  6. *Checks map* ... Yep, Bedfordshire is still a long old way from Plymouth. ... *Sad face*
  7. Selling my SVT-CL, glorious sounding amp but I haven't needed to use it much over the past year. All works flawlessly and come with a cover (has a lot of marks on it) This has a few knock marks which I've tried to show in the pictures but nothing that affects performance. it is nearly 20 years old. This is a US Built one and the serial number puts it at Feb 2007 which would make it one of the last ones built in the US before manufacturing moved. Collection only as this is a heavy bit of iron with valves! Collection from Sandy, Bedfordshire. £850

  8. I have one of these - nice bass and cost me a fortune to get it imported from Japan! Can't believe it hasn't gone yet. Shame I already have one coz I am right around the corner in Archway
  9. Cinderford is where i grew up. Best of luck to the new venture. Looks like a great place.
  10. You won’t find a better playing 5-string than this at that price, incredibly well made basses. If I didn’t have one already I’d be buying this one. 👍
  11. Thanks for this @MrFingers! That’s super helpful. I’ll have a look under the pickups over the next couple of days and let you know what’s under there. The scratch plate is definitely very recent.
  12. Big change of pace for this one
  13. Hi all My producer friend has overseen the design and build of this new project. https://studio250.co.uk Having played for the test flight session I can assure you it’s fantastic, if anyone in the area or indeed further afield is looking for somewhere for a recording project I’d recommend getting in touch, I believe rates will be very reasonable to begin with.
  14. Many apologies for the late reply, taken a break from social media. Basically like a good Jazz, with the option of having a very passable stingray tone as you move towards the bridge. The roasted maple neck is less spanky than traditional maple necks I’ve had and feels great, although I’m waiting for an opportunity in the gig diary to move the strings on to Elixiers. It’s odd not having reductive EQ, you can only boost and the lack of tone control might bother some- I’ve never found rolling tone off works for me however. Build quality is excellent. I was delighted with the set up straight out the box and will leave it like it is for as long as possible. The neck has some nice graining and overall I’m quite taken with the looks and the weight, which makes my old sire v7 fiver feel like a boat anchor.
  15. Has that happened on here? I guess you can make your money however you want, but that's properly distasteful. I think the one I had I sold for £150 (after buying it for that price). Capitalism innit.
  16. Feel like somebody else - The dig
  17. I use Acme Sound B2 2x10 three way speaker cabinets. I own four and all are 4Ω impedance. Using a stereo power amp that is stable at 2Ω per channel, as most pro ones are, I can drive all four at once should I need to. As a statement of fact ALL of my amplifiers are happy driving into 2Ω loads. The difference between an amplifier designed for 4Ω loads and one for 2Ω loads is very little.
  18. Reduced to £850 collected, for a little while. Then it's under the bed for a year or two.
  19. I d update too !!
  20. £5500 ffs ! can’t edit it lol !
  21. £5??? I'll take it!
  22. I have a Sire P5 5 ( the passive one) can't fault it. Lovely neck, sounds like a P, the B is fine. I'll also throw the Reverend Mercalli into the mix. 5 string reverse P and MM - passive. I have both, the Mercalli is a bruiser and my main gigging bass. Very capable with a lot of tonal variation if required. I use the Sire as back up and pick it up first at home for practice and learning songs etc.
  23. Selling as I’m just not playing it anymore ( it’s a cracker “ see the photos )) Mahogany body curly maple top rosewood board Emg p/j
  24. Body does look like a 1970's product to me. It has the straight pocket, so: late 1970's. Neck is from a 1988 Fender AVRI '62 P-bass. Pickguard is way more recent. What does the pickup look like underneath the covers?
  25. Today
  26. @Leonard Smalls That bass line - is a great bass line.
  27. Totally. Helping people is what we do here; they don’t need to be the OP. If a lurker takes away a useful nugget of information that’s totally fine with me
