  1. Past hour
  2. Oh my! Shame I don't still live in Redruth or I'd be round to take a shufty at that.
  3. Hi Phil, yes it is. Send me a private message if you’d like it.
  4. These are ideal strings for a short scale danelectro — I put a set on my blueburst longhorn well over ten years ago and they still sound full and punchy.
  5. I have the Entwistle split P pickup and unfortunately they're for show by the looks of things - I did try turning mine but they wouldn't budge and I eventually chickened out. They may be cheap, but I'm still not ruining one finding out if the pole pieces are adjustable
  6. Old thread I know, but any feedback on this? Bass demo’s out there are pretty lacking. Thanks!
  7. No doubt see you there!
  8. Yes they align. Wasn't aware of neck inserts. Is it just a case of making holes big enough for the inserts then bolting on? That would certainly be easier.... Thanks a lot
  9. @bassben1 We need more info to help. Can we have photos and a clear description of your signal path?
  10. If the holes align, but are just too big... Maybe use neck inserts and bolts, rather than plugging and re-drilling
  11. Wow!!! That is superb. And I struggle to get my head around how your did it. Lovely work generally, but that feature is a 'knock out of the ball park' jobee. Bravo!!
  12. That is the down side of long rehearsals. I try to play a bit lighter on long rehearsals and even the longer gigs. Dave
  13. Today
  14. Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond
  15. Simplified sight reading for electric bass by Jos des Pres. I used this to learn bass notation. It’s brilliant!
  16. Just seen a review that stated the Xvive lasted over 7 hours. I’ll order those today. £118 on Amazon spread over 5 months interest free.
  17. I bought these for a project that never happened, used but in good condition, £90 £70 including delivery to UK addresses
  18. All prices reduced by £5 and delivery to UK included. I made space on my pedal board for an HX One. It replaced my Xotic Bass RC Booster and the pedal I thought I'd never sell, my Creation Audio Grizzy. So I now have 5 pedals sitting around doing not a lot and a hankering for a Stomp Creation Audio Grizzly. £135 Flattley Poison Ivy Fuzz £85 Black Country Custom The 85 Octave £80 TC Electronics 3rd Dimension Chorus £20 All in top condition. In fact the 85, 3rd Dim and Flattely are like new. All boxed except for the Grizzly (I will keep looking). Velcro'd as per the photos. Peter

  19. Agreed! I think the mastery of rhythm is where you can tell the difference between a pro and an amateur. (I’m in the latter category - and I know it.)
  20. It's bang on 4kg on the office franking machine, probably more accurate than my eBay scales!
  21. I've come back to the fuzzmo after a fair few years, seriously excellent fuzz that does heaps. Think you might regret selling it mate. Glwts
