  1. Past hour
  2. As new Gator padded mixer/equipment bag. External pocket with zip and detachable shoulder strap. Internal dimensions 12” x 12” x 5.5”. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.
  3. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, but if you're not a Peter Hook fan don't let that put you off. These are fantastic basses in every aspect. The build quality is phenomenal, sound is superb and they play like a dream. Plus, they look even better in the flesh, lovely deep trans red. I can't see mine leaving me any time soon. If you are a Hooky fan then that's just gravy.
  4. Open to sensible offers...
  5. Spoke with the guys at Crimson Guitars today (thanks @Chienmortbb) and they were brilliant. Very helpful and not salesy at all. Think I've made a step forward with this. Will post a proper build thread once things start moving.
  6. Was this a factory fretless or a de-fret?
  7. I used to gig often with my G&L Fallout, before I thinned the herd. Now my 32" Pbass with a Jaguar Squier neck gets played out frequently.
  8. I have one of these, its a rock machine, great build, sound and balance
  9. That does look very nice I have to say.
  10. Yes, and what Mr Hook called the worst bass he's ever played. Not much of an endorsement.
  11. Hi, As listed, Boss OC2 ( Taiwan), MXR phase 90 and Korg pitch-black in a Boss BCB 30 pedal board box. Mains adapter and Rean pancake jacks. I'd rather sell complete, £200 collected as the items can be demonstrated. Thanks for viewing Martin

  12. There’s a lot of good material out there. Gary Willis’s Fingerboard Harmony is a good one, showing you how to practically apply a lot of this theory.
  13. I’ve always wanted to try one of these but I’ve never seen one in the flesh. Looking forward to taking a look and if possible playing (badly!) a few notes.
  14. I have two used Spector USA bass bridges that once belonged to NS2 basses I no longer own, I had taken these off in favour of black hardware. One is the heavy all-brass version, this has faded somewhat on the bass side. I’m not sure if this could be polished up. The other is the lighter, aluminium version, this one in better condition. It is considerably lighter. Note: these will not drop into a Euro bass without some re-routing to enlarge the space slightly. £150 for each bridge or £285 for the pair. Price includes UK shipping.

  17. I don't have a scale handy...but comparing it to a jazz bass next to me I'd say between 4.200 and 4.300 kg.(9,25-9,47 lb)
  18. My regularly-gigged MIJ Fender Mustang. I like it because it is light, sounds great and is easy to play. Had it for about 8 years. Unintended benefit of a short-scale: it takes up less room on a tight stage. I occasionally get out the guitar it has replaced; a 1978 Ric 4001, play it for a wee while and then put it away again.
  19. Thanks Paul, I remember seeing the JS Bach book before, I'll order a copy of that one, also the Jonas book as well, it costs peanuts so well worth a punt

  21. I'm hoping to turn up on Sunday. I'm going to bring a box for measuring pickups and my early Vigier Arpege as a guinea pig. Not expecting to pass through Kent when I leave Portsmouth...
  22. At my local liquor store the Korean owner would routinely spray the very stinky homeless people who made up a large part of his customer base with Febreze and an air freshener called Ozium and it seemed to work pretty well. They kept coming back, anyway. I doubt any Pedulla case, however well-travelled, has seen the same levels of poor personal sanitation that those poor wretched souls were subjecting themselves to. Might well be worth giving that combo a try.
