  1. Past hour
  2. My mini version is now on its way to me so would really like to see this one go to a good home.
  3. No drill mark just a little paint chip. Strings are nickel 45-105 but I'll need to check brand.
  4. Yes, it seems to be saying "reset your PC to an earlier date as a last resort"🥴
  5. Reading this again made me listen to the long version of My Generation off Live at Leeds...always gets me every time, as does Marquee Moon for example. The tone colours and tone production and character from the musicians themselves is/are incredible, the dynamic range and stereo image also.
  6. This happens to me quite a lot, ie realising I've been playing something very slightly wrong whilst being totally confident I had it right. One note can put a whole different complexion on things.
  7. PM'd Whats the drill mark on the back? & what did you string it with btw Cheers
  8. Up for sale is one of the greatest synth filters ive had the pleasure to use. Its got a plethora of features including the usual up/down filter and a very cool step filter. The step filter provides random tones, very electronic sounding and can be adjusted to emulate a tremelo or phaser. Such a great sounding filter for lovers of synth. Its in as new condition and comes with the original box, i havent had the chance to fit it to my pedalboard, so no velcro. Id keep this, but need cash currently. If you can find these (difficult), they are quite expensive. £110 posted to the uk
  9. Up for sale is a pedal that's been a staple sound on my board for a long time. The Emma Okto Nojs is a very dirty/synthy pedal, and a whole plethora of synth tones can be had with this! Just add filter and Analog synth heaven. It's two pedals in one Octave - this is a very deep and plummy octave, it has a filter, so can go very deep to buzzy like a sawtooth wave, it does the OC2 thing well. It tracks very well, and has the internal "bass" setting, which i think helps a bit more. Fuzz- this Fuzz is in two parts, the first is a very dynamic synth Fuzz, with a subtle octave up sound as you play higher up. This sounds very similar to the 3 leaf you're Doom currently going for tons of money online, great for Moog like tones. It also has a fuzzy square wave tone an octave down, with a volume and colour (tone) so it can be used alone or in conjunction with the normal Fuzz sound. When Fuzz and octave are switched on together, they run in parallel for a cleaner more dynamic synth tones. It's in fantastic condition, with a pretty blue Octopuss orgy on the front, and with the original box. £100 incl UK only delivery
  10. Whilst we still have a handful of jobs left to do to fully finish the Nick Smith Midas, today saw a massive step forward seeing the frets leveled, crowned and polished, electronics wired and fully assembled and strung! We heard her voice for the first time today and the pairing of Aguilar Amplification HJ pickups and two band cut/boost preamp are sounding sweet! It feels bittersweet that Nicks vision has reached this point yet he won’t be able to see it or make it sing 😢 She’ll now be given some time to settle before setup and the last few jobs completed at which point we’ll tie down and announce the details of the charity raffle!
  11. I am pretty sure I'd have had worse. "Little Chef" anybody? That obligatory stop for anybody driving on the motorways in the 90s. It made Tunnocks Tea Cakes seem proper gourmet stuff.
  12. The Mipro ones have a short delay of approx 1mS from memory, whereas the Lekatos are 5mS. Not an issue in most situations, but the Mipros really are pro bits of kit.
  13. Thank you P , It is really 1 of a kind . I had 2 fretless bass this and a pedulla pentabuzz . I sold the pedulla and that should sum how special this bass really is . Most effortless bass tli ever played
  14. Thank you Tony It will be really missed , unless I win the postcode lottery 😀
  15. Top nick. 91% battery. Kept in a hard shell case. I can do pictures if you really want Fresh install when the time comes. Fancy it, you know you do. Are you worth it? You are so worth it. When Apple introduced the M1, it included 16 billion transistors, just above the 15.8 billion used in the A15 Bionic chip. For the new chips, Apple decided to take advantage of the size benefits and think bigger. The M1 Pro is a chip with 33.7 billion transistors, more than double the original's count.
  16. If you want to charge vintage money for a bass then you provide history, pics and everything g you can for provenance. It’s not as if Fenders are hard to take apart! No hex keys, sealed bits etc.
  17. This is a clone of the original MM 2 band pre-amp.
  18. Think i will stick with my £35 Lekatos for a while yet! To be fair, I have now done 5 gigs and 5 practices with them and no issues at all.
  19. Normally I go every few years, have decided to leave it for the next 4, for some reason!
  20. Today
  21. I always think about The Who that if they came out today with that same music they would be feted as the hippest new indie band on the scene. Their music hasn't aged, and equally guitar- orientated rock music is still in the thrall of bands from that era. Those classic Who records are still incredibly modern and current-sounding.
  22. Sailing - Sutherland Bros
  23. Sorry, I am like a cracked record here. It is a flightcase. There is no need to pack it. Let the couriers do their worst. Let them see it as a challenge. It will hurt them more than it will hurt the flightcase.
  24. I had a similar problem with a stingray special. It turned out that all pp3s don't have identical dimensions. The RS own brand fitted in the battery holder fine but didn't quite make contact. Intermittent enough to keep me guessing!
  25. Sadly I have not had time to check the finish/damage at the rear, but the large specs of dust can be wiped away.
  26. When asked to list my hobbies, I include "Collecting projects".
