Hi everyone. Update June 28th. Also now for sale , same Yamaha preamp QC87550 but with push/pull Passive option on the Vol pot - thats for £40 inc deliv, please see other posting for that one. Just moving this Standard preamp on at minimal price , kindly donated by Basschatter Lloydy when I bought his Pewter Beauty not long ago. Also fits a BB615, same 32mm spacing between the shafts on the board. Full working order before Lloydy replaced it with a Glock 3 Band. I include two original larger ( 20mm high 18.3mm diam and 6mm shaft hole ) heavy chrome knobs with new O rings in each. I havent got the full 20 yr service history but the Vol Blend splined pot shafts are 5.85mm outside diam but knobs tighten up OK with allen key. ( The Bass Mid Treb splined shafts are 6.0mm ) The fixed shafts on the board are 32mm centres x 2. The securing nuts and washers are there. Jack socket too. Photo now added. One split shaft crimped up - an ill fitting push on knob I remember - the two allen keyed chrome knobs included are from another BB614 I have ( bought some of those Hipshot lightweight ones from BD - £8 each! ) . So, £30 including UK mainland postage. Apart from seeing one pot is 500k on the photos I can’t help you with any other electronic specs. Cheers. Quent

Hi, These are still for sale ( March 2025 ) I took these tuners off my 2016 Spector NT4 and replaced with Gotoh Gold GB707 , hence photo to show Drop In compatibility. Just home use by myself for a few months ( I bought bass new in 2018) before putting the gold set on. So excellent condition and very little use. They’ve cleaned up as well as the other same size set I’m now selling (£45) on here , just no Spector Logo on these. The diagram dimensions are accurate in the photo. I have digital calipers. Just had to change a couple of dimensions on a Wilkinson open gear diagram. £40 includes UK postage. 2L-2R Weight 238g Cheers. Quent

Hi. Thank you for looking. I'm selling my LM IV as I no longer use it. I have only used a couple of times for practices. It's in immaculate condition having been housed in a flight case. Ideally would prefer collection but can post at buyers expense Description below copied from Markbass LITTLE MARK IV The new Little Mark IV amps add some amazing features to our flagship Markbass Little Mark III amplifier, an industry standard for tone, portability and value. The new bi-band limiter featured on this amp responds faster and more dynamically to your playing. Its paired with a 500 watt power amp providing impeccable bass frequency reproduction thanks to our MPT proprietary amp specifically designed for bass. In addition the Little Mark IV features a mute switch, and the 3 way switch that that includes the options of a Flat, Scooped or FSW (Footswitchable) EQ options. KEY POINTS > Little Mark’s legacy Since our beginning 20 years ago, Markbass pioneered small amp design with its "Little Mark" series creating an industry standard thanks to their amp's compact size, light weight, along with its signature warm and natural sound. That legacy has been preserved with the Little Mark IV, and has evolved to include the addition of new features requested by many of our artists and customers. > Updated 4 band EQ, Old School filter, 3 way switch Our updated 4 band EQ section features very effective controls allowing you to easily find the sound you want, boosting or cutting up to 16dB for each of the 4 bands to cover all the tonal nuances needed in any genre of music. Additionally the Old School filter cuts your high frequencies and gives a round and smooth tone. The 3 way rotary-switch allows you to choose between a super-balanced flat tone, a scooped preset that drops the mids while boosting the lows and highs - giving a superb slap sound, or lastly the 'FSW' option to control both mute and the Scooped EQ on demand by connecting an optional dual footswitch. > Bi-band limiter Our new bi-band limiter responds faster and more dynamically to your playing than traditional limiters do and lets your high end "breathe" for a more natural sound. It makes our amp heads the best choice for anyone who enjoys a quick, punchy attack at high volumes. > MUTE / LINE OUT LEVEL CONTROL / PRE-POST EQ switch Featured on the front panel of the Little Mark IV series amps are a convenient mute switch, along with the Line Out level control knob that allows for precise control of the signal sent to the mixer/ PA. On the rear panel is a Pre-Post EQ switch allowing you to set the XLR output's routing to before or after your EQ as required. > MPT - MARK PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY Many other bass amps on the market use power amps that are not specifically designed for bass. At Markbass, Marco De Virgiliis invested heavily in R&D to develop proprietary power amp technology in house. Our MPT power amp was built from the ground up to respect and elevate the inherent tone of your instrument.

Slap bass (mainly because I'm crap at it) 6 string basses (when will you ever play that skinny string - never) Wireless guitar/bass systems (pointless unless you're in Lynrd Skynrd, or plan to crowd surf while playing bass) Hofner Violin basses -

I find there's something about JJs tone that makes it very hard to pinpoint the lowest notes. Also there are times when he follows Dave and others where he doesn't. I agree with Mr Valdemar that in this case he doesn't move. -

Just bought a preamp from John. Communication was truly excellent. The unit expertly packaged and when there was a problem with a delay in delivery by the courier he went the extra mile to sort it out. Highly recommended.

- Gibson/Fender/Squier/Fodera, not only because they are overpriced, but they also look outdated - maple and light coloured fretboards - painted is another thing - too round necks - single cut bodies and "Beatle bass" - ridiculously overpriced "vintage" stuff - fashion things like Hartke, ADA, Markbass, tce amps, Warwick Corvette... - lousy electronics in the signal path including carbon track pots like Alpha, CTS... - terms "passive" and "active, when they most likely describe only the output of a bass: hi-Z, or lo-Z - cheapo reissues like Steinberger, Tobias... - (Fender) reissues branded to someone like Pastorius, Flea, Victor Bailey while they actually played something else in their well known career - the word "mojo" in any circumstance -
Looking forward to checking it out, how have they implemented it?? Its a very graphical plugin, which I can't imagine has carried over?

WAL basses. They're ugly. Don't care what they sound like, how good their build quality is or, how rare they are. Apart from their inconceivable sales value (as I'd sell it immediately) you couldn't give me one for free. Stupid coloured bass cabs, ( orange, purple, red, green etc) Music stands on stage should attract the death penalty (tablets are okay) Drummers with more than three cymbals.

The MIJ Fender Jazz Bass 1996/97 in Daphne Blue has bass has been modified with Lindy Fralin pickups - which sound amazing and the control plate has been changed to the concentric style. Currently strung with Thomastik flats, this bass is awesome and am only selling as I’ve recently completed a custom build. price includes shipping to the UK.

no problem at all. Enjoy the new amp. -
Some uncomfortably reminiscent descriptions tho I'm not a great one for hallucinogens.

Instant freeze used by plumbers to temporarily freeze a pipe so they can work
-
Jazz/P/Strat/Tele/LP copies - Fender and Gibson are allowed to make their own copies (Squier and Epihpone), but everyone else is just ripping stuff off. Painted headstocks (and necks) except maybe black if it's a Gibson, Parker or Warwick etc P pick-ups - why are they in two bits like that? Brand new relic/road worn stuff
