  1. Past hour
  2. I have the 100 and the 500 combos. The 100 is loud enough for most stuff I play (pubs) but the 500 has more power (obviously) and disperses the sound better so I use that a fair bit too. Both are cracking amps and, in my opinion, sound best when the 'vintage' button is engaged.
  3. Abradacabra - Steve Miller Band
  4. This was my son’s first kit, it’s spent the last year disassembled at his mum’s house though and it’s time to move it on. Missing a foot but everything else seems to be there. Will supply with a spare drum head but stool not included. First photo is from when it was set up at my house a few years back, others all from today. Collection only due to size etc…

  5. The neatness of an office, the tools of a workshop, and the accessibility of a spare bedroom. It's a good space to use - not just the desk, but also the whole room.
  6. A pair of high quality speaker cables, manufactured by OBBM. Neutrik connectors and Klotz LY240T cable. Each one is just over 1 metre in length. £30 £25 collected. Happy to post if required, probably an additional £5-£7.

  7. Sorry Dan, I somehow hissed your post. Just message me if still want to buy. Thanks.
  8. I'm amazed that a pedal this good and at this price is still not sold. Anyway, time for another bump.🙂
  9. Thanks Alex. I wonder if people just think that it's too cheap to be worth considering. If I was still out there gigging I would be perfectly happy using this little amp. Anyway, time for another bump.
  10. I love this amp so much, GLWS
  11. I'm lucky to have a dinky little box room to tinker with things and practice my bass parts. I'm feeling smug as I've just finished setting up my almost-but-not-quite John Wetton tribute bass, which I put together a couple of days ago.
  12. I’ve gone back to using a head and cab, so my Markbass combo is up for grabs. It’s a great amp, deceptively loud for its size and in good condition (although the handle is looking a bit worse for wear). Looking for £425 collected from Haywards Heath, or I’d be happy to meet halfway within a reasonable distance. Better photos, proof of ownership etc to come but here are some for starters.
  13. I see, you mean "Modify" :). I've done similar in the past, added feet to raise the back to accomodate a source audio hub underneth, then i got a battery power supply and had to cut a slot to access the on/off switch (and then moved it). I'd use the word butcher rarher than modify in my case but yours looks great.
  14. Ive watched the first two episodes and I enjoyed the bits when they weren't focusing on Hooky and Melissa. Nothing against them but I found the small contributions from the other bass players more interesting, especially Mark King, Adam Clayton Daryl Jones.
  15. This is a really good demonstration of exactly what rubbish is. One thing that, to one person, is no longer usable, or fit for purpose, so they are going to throw it away. The same thing, someone else would possibly be prepared to buy from them. The real question is; whether Jean-Luc has thrown it away, sold it, or put it in their spare parts box... I see this sometimes at the local council tip. Wonder why people are throwing things away that look perfectly useful. And I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for it, but you're not allowed to buy and sell things at the tip. Although I have seen people taking items off people as they're emptying their cars. So is it rubbish, or is it ready to be recycled? A lot of rubbish music seems to have been recycled by various people.
  16. You can download the freeview app and watch it. Now tv with the entertainment package will let you watch it on demand too.
  17. Roundabout - Yes
