  1. Past hour
  2. I think just you playing the autoharp will do for starters Jack.
  3. 180 pounds? Blimey, another celebrity on Mounjaro Ps, quickest bump ever!
  4. That's a great sound!
  5. Very decent piece of rack gear, equally suitable for studio or live use (I've used it both ways). The two multi-way cable clips on top are there by self-adhesive stuff and will remove. I found them useful enough to choose to leave them there for the new owner. The original box is present, as seen in the photos, but not the polystyrene inserts. I'll use bubble wrap for postage. 6. Very little used since Covid, time to move it on. Comes with all the little bits of cabling etc. Condition is as near pristine as you're likely to find. Full specs are here: https://philjonesbass.net/cms/product-ha-1/

  7. My eye (yes, I have two. Don't worry...) was caught by the cool looking lever at the top of the bridge - does this amazingly manly bass have a lever that deploys the string mutes? Bet MusicMan wish they'd thought of that before adding those fiddly tiny metal round screws under the bridges of Classic Stingrays. Seriously impressed by the intonation calibration markings on the bridge as well. If Bang & Olufsen made basses, they would make basses like this.
  8. Even if you won't be reading it @Stub Mandrel as I'm on your Ignore List for being pedantic, I was about to post exactly the same comments as you.
  9. Bedford BandStand Sun 17th big crowd for Bedford Cardiac unit....strapless!!!!!!
  10. Are you telling us you don't have the right body to win on social media @Dood ? 😉🤪🤔
  11. But then they don't know what a fantastic guitarist is - I have played with some remarkably sub par guitarists and after a gig they will get people saying how good they are - I don't know how peoples heads work. Even if she was playing those things she would be terrible! Well, and you get emails all the time saying buy this latest thing, with some flashy website that when I do a search goes to aliexpress, as you know full well. You can't stop stupid on an open web and I think we are not going to get an offtube!
  12. I think bk to how I played when I first started as an 18 yr old sprog and its makes me cringe. Always the performer with way too much over playing, whacking the strings without any finness. Jumping about like an idiot missing notes etc. About as rookie a collection of errors as it's possible to get. Probably took me a good couple of yrs to cool it and start to play.... 'properly'. Been re-fining it ever since.
  13. You don't have to have talent to win on social media, but it helps if you have the body for it. They should just rename it thirsttrapagram and be done with it.
  14. Keep your cash in a high interest account and wait for the right one. We’re already seeing prices for some vintage gear stabilising and falling. The strength of the US economy (and the UK to be fair) is based on debt and at some point that’s going to come crashing down. If you’re in Europe I’d look to the States. The exchange rate is strengthening and you’ll get a better deal than buying from the UK.
  15. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  16. Hi. Here you go (from the Gator site)... Length 12.50" Width 19.00" Height 9.00" Cheers!
  17. It gives them a sense of purpose and it does influence a lot of people to take up worthwhile activities. I mean we could moan all we like about people pretending to play an instrument, but if a handful of people are inspired to pick up an instrument, then that's quite worthwhile.
  18. Wotch it Skinny... you're perilously close to being outraged by sochal meeja...
  19. I’ll keep an eye out for you, I’m always browsing
  20. Dark Dance - Robin Williamson
  21. Will be going on eBay later (and will likely sell for more than listed here).
  22. It seems like YT and Insta and all the others these days are just this incestuous circle of “influencers” calling each other out and getting artificially outraged for some perceived infraction or other. Grifters the lot of ‘em. People around the world are dying in conflicts, children are starving and none of this sh*t matters one iota. None of it is worth the server space it takes up.
  23. A huge number of followers, likers, and commentors are bots and AI accounts. "Fed up of being taken advantage of? Simply send me a postal order for £5 and I will send you my guide on how to avoid online scams..."
  24. Up for sale is this classic comp. In great working order with a few obligatory chips.
