Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X headphones in perfect condition, as new. I have 4 sets of headphones, so I'm selling this one as well as another non used or surplus to requirement set. Check my ads. NO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France (excluding French overseas territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom: €165 EUR (£145 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros) and, as it will be asked, the new price is around €235. Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU, just send me a PM. In perfect working order and as new condition. As I've stopped playing bass and focusing on piano only, I'm selling surplus to requirement. Don't hesitate to ask for more details, but, please, before asking read my ad first as the answer is certainly already in it! Think that might be a typo too, the specs on the EBMM website are passive https://www.music-man.com/instruments/basses/short-scale-stingray -

Not sure on the typos. I was surprised it states 18v active as the control layout looks like the passive or a least a 2EQ rather than the 3EQ on the normal Ray Special. There’s no rear picture so you can’t check for a battery box -

I going to dye my fretboard as dark as I can get it, as black as a Raven, I have a few dyes to try, and a Masking liquid called Maskol, it's fantastic for those pearl inlays, paint it on, peel if off. Any tips on the dark side?

Found some old tracks on my computer and thought I’d release them to the ether! On almost all streaming platforms except Spotify (on moral grounds!) Not really bass-specific as such, but has bass in it (mostly programmed). Here’s an Apple Music link: https://music.apple.com/gb/album/twothousands/1876848564

Buying and Importing from Japan
SurroundedByManatees replied to Cornwall Steve's topic in General Discussion
I've bought 2 basses from Japan, both from Miki Bass Side. I'd recommend to take a look at their site every now and then. Both deals went without any trouble. They happily answer in English and are very friendly. In both cases prices were negotiable, and I got about 15% off if I recall right. Shipping went fast on both occasions. -
I'm probably late to the party on this, but iPad with GarageBand and an audio interface seems to actually works well for live monitoring and adding some effects, can do some in-depth EQ visual analysis and adjusting. Stock effects aren't great but third party ones are decent. And it has tuner/mute. I think this could be quite a portable and useful setup to take to rehearsals: Some basic 'always on' effects and tuner, but the option for metronome/drum loops, recording. etc. This stuff seems to have almost got to the point of replacing multi fx for me, especially reliability is really good and latency is low (both were real issues just a couple of years ago). It just needs needs footswitches for live stuff. like the idea of wireless options. I like the look of the Ampero as I think 4x switches is what I'd need, although the Boss FS-1-WL also looks good and can be battery powered (nice to fully get rid of cables) and has 'HID mode' which is new to me but I assume something that could be useful one day (basically a different way or remotely 'pressing' buttons on software, stuff like page turning music sheets), hte Boss only 3x footswitches but others can be added. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4ufVfwwaxI

And it says nut width is 38.1mm. I wonder if it’s just a typo on the ‘Governor’ one. -

BassAdder60 started following Why weak wattage?

I was at one time thinking I must have a combination of cabs to achieve 4ohms so i can get max watts from amp ! Now I run an 8ohm MarkBass 122 cab with a 500w head and it’s very loud when it needs to be ! One cab solution and easy carry in I never thought to much about cabs but I now see a decent cab is more important than lots of watts 100w Ampeg V4B very loud amp ! not got it anymore as too heavy !
