I agree that a socket tester should be a vital part of a gigging musicians equipment. Before I left the UK I saw many instances of dangerous practices. One I'll never forget was a 13A plug with about fifty feet of doorbell wire connecting to a VOX AC30. I was terrified for the player!

I've got a couple of Xotic basses and I think that its pretty safe to say that isn't from the same stable. I'm guessing that it's a custom build superjazz - never seen that logo on the headstock before. -
Hi, I'm after some information on The Strunal 5/35 hybrid I'm a lefty and this is a proper left handed model At a very reasonable second hand price I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them I've been looking for a good starter bass one that will be a good gigging bass as well Thanks

So you mean that when you do that (route Sub to PA), you no longer get the decrease in overall volume when you (only) bring up the Octave knob (as I describe)? My issue isn't getting the Meatbox boomy Sub sound - I can - it's how each of the knobs behave individually that I find enigmatic. Having spoken to Digitech (who owns them), this is because the knobs are coupled, not independent. Thanks all.

Hey all. I've just come into possession of an RM 800 EVO 3 and could do with a bag for it. What are you guys using for yours? I see there is an official Ashdown bag for the RMs but it doesn't mention the EVO 3 at all when talking about which amps fit in it so I'm unsure whether it would be okay

Another pedal I am selling on behalf of my predecessor in my band who passed away last year. His widow is wanting help with clearing out some of his considerable music stuff. Don't know much about this pedal - it is in as new condition though, and comes boxed with it's original power supply and some bumf / stickers etc. Current new price online is between £120 and £130, so grab a bargain!
