Stewart started following Fender Jazz 5-string (MIM)
-
Beautiful condition 2001 Fender 5-string Jazz (MIM) in Midnight Wine (like a darker Candy Apple Red) with a replacement black pickguard. Strap pins are Schaller, but straplocks not supplied. Weight is around 4.6kg, and is nicely balanced (no neck dive). Note that this is passive, not the more common active MIM 5-string model. There are no discernable dings anywhere on it, and only a little play wear at the top of the pickguard. Lovely setup and action, with a new set of Elixir strings. Comes with the original (white) pickguard (virtually unused) and a Gator ABS hard case. These don’t appear often, so pricing is difficult but I’m hoping £525 (including postage) isn’t unreasonable.

Post your pedal board - Basschat style!!

Exactly. Line up all the effects I use and hide the ones I don't via the software, and then scroll through them on the footswitch. So much quicker! -
Downsizing my various rig combinations and going more analogue in keeping with my advancing years !!!!! The Kemper Profiler Player offers the full arsenal of Kemper bass tones ranging from Ampeg B15, SVT's through Bassman's, Marshall Plexi's, Acoustic and Sunn and the more "modern sounds of GK, Mesa Engineering, Hartke and Darkglass to name a few. The comfortable on-board LED system provides detailed visual feedback on the current device status at all times. For digging deeper into every aspect of the FX, enter Rig Manager, the only guitar amp control and editing solution that is available for all relevant platforms. Compatibility with Phones and Tablets for connecting to Rig Manager Seamlessly edit your tones and sound library with your phone or smart device. The Kemper Profiler Player can be connected with Apple, Android, Kindle Fire, macOS, and Windows - all you need is the free app that can be found on App Stores and the Kemper Website. Massive Sound Library of 444 FX The Player offers a massive, well-curated selection of 136 different FX settings from the legendary Kemper Profiler FX arsenal of over 444 FX presets in total. All the important tools of the trade are just ready to be engaged with the next switch! The Player’s signal chain comprises of 4 effect blocks in addition to the amplifier stack. Up to two effects can be placed "pre" the amp stack, and another two "post" the amp. The post-amp modules of the effect chain are ideal for delay and reverb effects. Both delay and reverb offer "spillover" at any time, meaning the sonic tail is not cut off when changing to another Rig. DI for FoH and I have always been complimented on the sound of my rigs !!!!!! The aftermarket Retrovision screen is a game changer for live and is no longer being imported into UK from Netherlands. All original packaging and power supply included Current price is £649 and the screen was £89 so both for £ 430 posted is a bargain

I had a Varitone on a (righty) Ibanez ST924 I was given by a client. It was much like the Tonestyler mentioned several times above, as it switches between various capacitor / resistor values (I don't know a thing about electronics) and doesn't function as a regular treble rolloff. I thought it was incredibly useful on that bass, and had a LOT of impact. That bass has a regular passive tone control too, and combined the range of sonic possibilities was ginormous. Wonderful bass! It now lives with my (righty) guitarist, who's very happy with it and uses it in his band with other teachers at the school he works at.

The mate booking ours is in Stratford-upon-Avon. I guess it's IP sensitive too...
-
Ah, very cool. Gets way more out of that pedal I guess then.
-
Really? I just got two excellent seats on the side, a 1/3 of the way back for £175 each + fees.

Perhaps when the ticket sales come to 3 million pounds a gig you might think about a tech!

Limited edition only 50 made I believe, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong! Gated fuzz with two channels, channel 1 bypasses the tone pot and channel 2 includes the tone. Plus it has clean blend so you can quite a few different sounds out of it. Does that really spitty Velcro fuzz sound very well! There’s a couple of videos on YouTube showing what it can do. It’s not on my board anymore and I’ve been toying with selling it for a while now, mostly just with it being a limited run and it’s pretty cool but ultimately I just don’t use it these days and the money could be put to better use elsewhere. Annoyingly I don’t have the original box, must’ve lost it during a house move, but it will be packaged up securely. Price includes UK postage, cheers

The "hole" near the attachment arm, isn't a blemish.... it's for adjusting the neck angle. I should have mentioned in my first post, that the necks on these are removable, for packing down smaller for taking on tour / air transport etc. But the beauty of the system is that you can finely adjust the neck angle to set up to your preference, and it's really quick & easy to do.

Owned from new for around 12yrs, I bought this from Thomann and had it set up for Rockabilly. It definitely feels a step up from the entry level basses and I have used it live a lot. Most of its life has been more of feature in my living room though. The last couple of years I have been coming to terms with the fact that I need to sell it. Space is at a premium, it rarely gets used and I am of an age where the EUB seems the easier option. The specs are here Thomann link if anyone is interested. I added a pickup which has been useful - a David Gage Realist. People often call it a copper head. They’re industry standard and normally about £120 used. Mine is included with the bass at no extra cost to you. There is a tatty (by my high standards) gig bag and the strings are currently Gut-A-Like vintage ones Gut A Like strings You’ll see I added a few stickers. These should be fairly easy to remove. I’m happy to do it, or I can leave it. Equally I am happy to add more pictures. It’s currently lent against the wall in my place in Hungerford, where I am Sunday to Thursday evenings. Postage looks too hard to do so it would be a collection. I have gotten it in a Peugeot 107 before - not comfortably, so perhaps don’t bring the family if collecting!

These are great and I am only selling as I just upgraded to the BCB-90x. It’s set up with the daisy chain all in place. You just need to add your pedals and patch cables. Cut for six Boss sized pedals. Price includes UK postage. Check my feedback and buy with confidence. PayPal or bank transfer preferred.

I’m a big fan of Boss pedals and have just re-done my board. I went a bit mad recently and have a fair few that are surplus to my requirements. All are boxed (initially the OC3 was listed as unboxed but I have since found the box) and only the super overdrive has Velcro on the bottom. I would grade these as at least 9/10 in terms of condition. Prices include UK postage. Boss Octave OC3 - £85 Boss Tuner TU3 - £70 Boss Super Chorus CH1 - £75 Boss Super Overdrive - £60 Boss Bass Overdrive - £80 I looked around online and believe these are priced to sell. Check my feedback thread and buy with confidence. PayPal or balance transfer preferred.

A small but powerful modular system I put together based around a Moog Mother 32 synth and sequencer. I added a Doepfer LFO A145 for increased modulation possibilities. I also added an Erica PICO DSP for onboard effects such as delays, chorus and reverb. There is a Doepfer mixer A138 and Behringer CP1A power supply. The modules are housed in an official Moog 104 HP case with some rack space left for more modules. The unit is unboxed and comes with mains adapter, patch leads as pictured. There is no midi lead included. The units are in very good condition and the Moog unit was recently serviced. The case has a cosmetic scratch at the front as pictured. I can include some extra rack screws. It’s compact but quite heavy as there is a lot packed into a small space! It is a great introduction to modular with plenty of patch options for experimentation. The Mother 32 has an onboard sequencer and small rubber ‘keys’ so it can be used standalone using headphones or an amp. It can be triggered by external midi or cv controllers. Selling as a complete unit. Pickup preferred but I can post UK only at buyer’s cost. It’s worth looking at reviews of each module to get a better perspective of what they can do. I’ll list on here to see if there is any interest before trying the usual….. One last try before I withdraw and sell the modules individually - price reduced.
