  2. That's not the one I sold you is it? Looks lovely anyway.
  3. Also some new RST Zebra limited ones
  4. oh i seee , so if you put it on the flat setting its like a bypass?
  5. Hello SumOne. I think your bocals sound like Leroy Sibles, if hou don't know him you should check him out, was around nany years ago. Had Dennis Brown znd Gregory Isaacs on Bvs. I like you voice. Daniel. Greenwich area. What instrument do yoj play
  6. Really cool set up for double bass that I’ve been using for a while now. Both cabs have downward firing 10” speakers which give great dispersement. Overall a very natural sound which works great for double bass (never used it for bass guitar but nothing to stop you…) The amp is rated to 2 ohms so one internal 4 ohm speaker and the ext cab is then a further 4 ohm speaker. Any questions let me know of course but I think AI gear is fairly well known so I suspect if you are looking you already have a good idea! As you can see from the pics both items are cased. Power cord and longer speakon cable for the ext are included of course. Both are pretty much mint condition, one very small indentation on the front plate of thecombo that I haven’t really been able tocapture in the pics. Cheers, Abd
  7. @doubleneck: that was my idea so far, but i fear at least one of the necks is always in a 'wrong' position. i wanted to put 2 Hondo Alien together. These are cheap 80ties korean copys of a Kramer Duke. All wood. 30". Very light and small. Sound shabby, until you add an East electronic and proper PU's 👍 I really like these just by the physics! They suit my injuries well. Can't tell why. Used one of those with a midi'ish PU for years on stage. Silly me. The very moment i get a 2nd one i try to defret and put the 2 together, even if it's only to say 'well, i tried everything'...🤷‍♂️ let's hope best! This version would solve at least the different sound (fr/fl) issues 😉 now i check those chinese ones... 1. Hondo Alien 2. example of what it might be 3.vertical, done by german master luthier Magnus Krempel (RIP)
  8. Thanks @Hellzero, yes the seller has already been kind enough to answer a bunch of questions from me!
  9. I have one of these and it’s very good. I don’t fiddle with the controls much, tending to leave it in passive mode in the usual 60:40 jazz pup mix but I do like the string spacing
  10. JMB is JoinMyBand
  11. Is there a Search bible somewhere? Looking to do a search in the for sale area that comes up with hundreds of pages but want to elimate all the sold items. -sold doesn't do anything.

  12. Nice! A fantastic bass for a great price!
  13. I took my own advice and prompted two different AI models about the instrument in the photo and they both bombed. They thought it was a Burns Vista Sonic. Fail.
  14. ...on a guitar sometimes a silken threat was enough to get that sitarish effect, but no use on bass what are these chinese basses?
  15. Today
  16. Yep and it works well as long as you set-up everything VERY correct. the magic of the diPiazza bridge is an piece of hard wood brought just that close to the string that it buzzes the Neuser idea appears more 'solid' set-up wise, if you can shift in/out lije shown in the video, but diPiazza works!
  17. So far no one has mentioned those chinese basses with two necks on different sides of one body, like brand Busuyi: "8-string bass, 5 string fretless."
  18. QSC CP12 Active PA Speaker 1000 Watts One of two - priced individually or for a small discount if sold as a pair. This speaker is as new and has not been used since purchase. It comes with additional QSC waterproof cover for outdoor use. Very powerful speakers however I’m downsizing and selling my larger portable PA gear. Street price is £579 cheapest I can find so this is a good saving. The covers cost an extra £67. The user manual is included. I have two of these for sale. I can knock off £40 if you buy the pair. Pickup definitely preferred but talk to me if this is impossible. UK only. Postage would be at buyer’s cost and I’d need to source packaging as the boxes have been recycled. These speakers get glowing reviews in Sound on Sound magazine - https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/qsc-cp-series I own a pair of QSC CP8s which are perfectly fine for keyboard monitoring and rehearsal PA so these aren’t needed now for personal use. 20. Not quite but it does make some weird, wonderful and musical noises!
  21. Using the weigh myself, then with guitar I made it 6.6kg or 14 1/2 lbs (ish)
  22. I didn’t know that. You learn something new everyday. 👍
  23. Clutch Too Much - AC/DC
  24. Evening all, by some quirk of fait I ended up too busy at work to find time to ring a local Herbert with an O level in electronics and an 18 watt soldering iron! As is always the sensible option I’ll heed all of your advice and do a bit of research (seems every body advertising in the Yellow Pages is an expert in amp repairs!) Deffo worth a chat with music locker before I do anything. Thanks again. Ta
