  2. I'm after a Phil Jones C4 if anyone fancies a trade?
  3. Offers and part-ex considered!
  4. For sale, this delightfully tiny MXR compressor. It's been my main "always on" compressor for years but I've started going without compression lately so it's not really needed any more. The pedal is in excellent condition, velcro on the bottom, and comes with the original box and power supply. Price includes UK postage.
  5. At the bridge between 2 saddles. Thanks.
  6. Definitely, I think I’m just so used to Precisions in the mix that anything else both sounds wrong to me and it’s me not being able to get the best out of them that’s the problem. I mean, listen to Deon Estus on Whams Club Tropicana, awesome sound.
  7. If you popped into Andertons, you must be localish to me ( west byfleet) you are welcome to come try them all out this weekend at mine, I'm not selling sorry but the Mrs is away and I have a free weekend , I'm giggin up in town Friday evening ( forced to use their fender rumble and I'm not happy about it ) I own/use both the Markbass combo and the Little Mark head, I have the NY121 cab to match and have used it exactly as you describe, but I also treated myself to the new Markbass MB58R 102 PURE cab, which might be of interest to you as well.
  8. This is my board I use for a pop punk tribute I play with. The Phat Phuk B gets swapped out for a chorus or octave when playing with other groups. Then I have a synth board for fun which I run before the main one and a board for bi-amp and pitch shifting nonsense.
  9. Buy a better Jazz bass. I've been a P bass guy since I first saw John McVie with John Mayall in the 60's. It's always been my preference, but I also love the sound of my Jazz bass. It is different, but my Sadowsky can take on any P bass for tone.
  10. Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Since acquiring four Precisions and eying up another plus also needing a Jazz, it’s become surplus. I have an addiction at the moment. I admit it. There I’ve said it. I also need an original Barefaced Compact 15 and an original Midget 😂😂😂😂 Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

  11. Greg Bennet by Samick Royale 3. MM Seymour Duncan Designed Humbucker plus a Seymour Duncan Designed preamp. Volume, Blend,Treble and Bass. It has an Gotoh battery box installed replacing the screw on cover. Also has upgraded Wilkinson machine heads. Nice bass that sounds and plays much better than its price tag suggests. I ended up using it as a first for a while as it excels with vintage chorus type effects. Selling as I’ve acquired far too many Precisions and I still have GAS for Fender shaped things 😞 No case with this. Collection preferred from BB22SH. If the buyer wants it posting at their cost and risk, then I’d have to source suitable packaging. It will be securely packaged.

  15. The key update to Source Audio’s Sound Check functionality has now gone live. It’s now possible to create and hear presets in real time for any Source Audio pedal using just the free Neuro 3 mobile or desktop app - no pedals or instruments required. This means you can check out in depth how this pedal will function and sound as an aid to determining whether it’d be something you’d use. https://www.sourceaudio.net/soundcheck.html

  22. is this a pedalboard? Asking for a friend...
  23. I think a Jazz bass sounds good when I’m playing alone but in a band setting I find the P bass just sounds so much better. Jazz bass always sound thin in comparison to a p bass. No matter what bass I buy and fall in love with once the honeymoon is over I always go back to my P bass.
