    Roland VB99

    I wish I hadn't sold mine, but progress y'know
  3. What model of Warwick do you own and does it have a preamp bypass option? I'm thinking you could try using it neck only and bypassing the preamp. That might get you close enough?
  4. Nissan Juke drivers. What's wrong with them? Why are they all such terrible drivers with no awareness of what's going on around them? If Im on my motorbike, I will always be extremely cautious around them and expect the worst of them.
  5. Cheers Shaggy, I think so too, the new bridge makes all the difference and the single truss rod with dual action once set it does not move incredible , so easy to set a Rick up now. this one plays like a dream with the flat profile neck so thin compared to any other Rick I have had over 40 of them, it is perfect has the growl, the feel, and looks not too shabby either, only selling due to ill health, will hate putting my Spector up.
  6. Just got this Nash PB52.......
  7. *PRICE INCLUDES UK POSTAGE * Wicked pedal! Tracks beautifully. Only selling as I’m now using multi-effect unit. In great condition (I may even have original box…can’t find at the moment m). Does an octave below and/or above. Also has an independent boost effect. Blurb here: Octavius tri-tone generator has 4 controls LO OCT, HIGH OCT, MASTER MIX and BOOST. LO OCT knob lets you set the volume of the lower octave signal produced by the pedal. HIGH OCT knob controls the volume of the higher octave signal produced by the pedal. The balance between the levels of these 2 knobs is what creates your particular octave-divided sound. Experiment with your mix, and you’ll be amazed at the variety of effects you’ll get. MASTER MIX knob lets you set the overall volume of your low and high octaves compared to your direct signal. Use the BOOST knob to control the output of your octave-divided sound. The boost function lets you dial in a solo level, whether the overdrive circuit is activated or not.
  8. Genuinely think this should be in a player’s tonal chain. Took out on a Jazz/Funk gig and it was smooth as butter!! Almost has me changing my mind…..just too much a luxury with the other stuff that I own and use!!
  9. I've seen a Helix require a few resets over a rehearsal more than once. Not at a gig so far.
  10. Played several over the years - a few Soundgears, an ATK and a BTB prototype. All excellent instruments, and on a different level to their production stuff. Higher quality finishes, better necks, better fretwork, vastly superior setups. Same pickups and electronics, for the most part, but occasionally they do custom stuff. It's possible to get them to build you something, but you've got to get in with their artist relations department - you don't necessarily have to be an "official" endorser with your picture on the website, but you do have to be on their radar, you've got to be willing (for the most part) to only be seen playing Ibanez gear, and you've got to pay (rather a lot). Personally, I always wanted a custom bolt-on BTB with the ATK pickups and preamp... I know Dave Bronze lurks on here and chips in from time to time - he's an official Ibby artist who has worked with the custom shop on his custom 6-string BTB, maybe he could chime in?
  11. I’ve also got a Unity700. Great little amp with loads of sounds. Doesn’t get much love unfortunately as I’m mostly straight to desk nowadays.
  12. Closely related... jeans with the crotch hear knee level. Sorry Gary Stringer... Saw a tall guy in the supermarket the other day, well over a foot taller than his partner. They both appeared to have legs the same length...
  13. Wow. That's a beautifully unique bass
  14. Ooo, I’ve got an Acoustic TR40R if anyone is interested…. just sayin’….
  15. Half the world away - Oasis
  16. I think it was before they started drilling a hole from bridge to control cavity.
  17. The original Greek is Aias so eye-ass. Ajax has become eh-jacks in English.
  18. Seymour Duncan SCPB-3 Quarter Pound Single Coil P-Bass Pickup. I bought this new a few years ago and never used it. Postage at cost. Details here: https://www.seymourduncan.com/single-product/quarter-pound-single-coil-p-bass
  19. Great strings for reggae, Motown or any old school style. Distinctive purple silks, unused in original package. I also have a hardly used matching 5th string - 126 gauge available for an additional fiver if required. Price includes UK postage.

  20. Something is completely off here, you don't adjust string tension by adjusting the truss rod, neither do you adjust string action by turning the truss rod. And what is a credit card supposed to test in relation to truss rod adjustment? Try read or watch one of the many excellent setup guides you can find with a simple search on the internet. For now leave that truss rod alone! In fact don't touch your bass until you have read or watched a full guide thoroughly, and made sure you understand every aspect of it.
  21. Looks like Statler and Waldorf were in attendance
  22. I had one of these. Really great pickups GLWTS
  23. Now £90.00. From subtle rooms to modern shimmer effects to long, evocative reverbs, the RV-6 envelops your tone in lush ambient spaces that endlessly inspire. BOSS RV6, Simply Great-Sounding Reverbs Packing the latest BOSS DSP and updated algorithms, the BOSS RV-6 gives you eight highly musical reverb effects in one compact pedal. Add body and depth to your core tone with standards like Room, Hall, and Plate, dial up swirling richness with the Modulate setting, or surf it up with a vintage-style Spring reverb. Dynamic mode automatically adjusts the effect depth to your playing touch, providing deep, immersive reverb that won’t turn your tone to mud. And modern players will love the new Shimmer and Reverb+Delay modes. Dialed-In Reverb Sounds at Your Command The BOSS RV6 makes getting high-quality reverb sounds with your guitar quick and easy—just select a sound mode, tweak the knobs to taste, and play. But while its operation is simple, the RV-6’s sound is rich and sophisticated. Under the hood, each mode includes a huge array of detailed reverb parameters, all perfectly tuned for guitar by the BOSS engineers with direct input from many pro players and sound engineers. Even as you adjust the selected mode with the Time and Tone knobs, many parameters are simultaneously adjusted inside to create the ideal voicing for every setting. Analog Dry Tone and Versatile I/O While the BOSS RV-6’s reverb effects are high-tech digital, you can rest assured that your straight guitar tone always remains pure analog as the effect is blended in. Convenient auto-switching jacks let you integrate with any pedal chain, with support for mono, mono-to-stereo, and stereo-to-stereo operation. And by plugging into the B input only, the BOSS RV6 outputs a 100-percent wet sound, great for working with more complex rigs that employ parallel processing chains and mixers. There’s also a jack for connecting an optional expression pedal, allowing you to control the effect level in real time as you play.
