  2. Thanks very much Blue, appreciate you taking the time to say so. We've had enquiries about a festival slot next month and a 2026 wedding at a very posh venue (it's been used as a film/TV set quite a bit) already, so hoping they both pan out.
  3. gotcha... I need to use the effects send/return on the preamp/amps to make any signal chain or chains.
  4. Maybe my favourite solid colour. 😍
  5. Great songs, Tomorrows Girls particularly good for us bassists.
  6. Ah, I should have said, would have been good to see you. The band is Temptation Waits, we're on FB and all the gigs should be listed there. Got the summer off then at the Cherry Tree in Wishaw in August. Haven't been there since about 1994!
  7. I'd more interested if the unit could handle a 2 ohm load. In this day and age I would have thought that an Amp Designer would consider that.
  8. Got it 👍 Thanks a lot John,yes it's me ☺️
  9. Ever wanted that mega Bi phase action like a musitronic! But smaller and cheaper. These are difficult to find, so my last bump.
  10. Up for sale is a pedal that's been a staple sound on my board for a long time. The Emma Okto Nojs is a very dirty/synthy pedal, and a whole plethora of synth tones can be had with this! Just add filter and Analog synth heaven. It's two pedals in one Octave - this is a very deep and plummy octave, it has a filter, so can go very deep to buzzy like a sawtooth wave, it does the OC2 thing well. It tracks very well, and has the internal "bass" setting, which i think helps a bit more. Fuzz- this Fuzz is in two parts, the first is a very dynamic synth Fuzz, with a subtle octave up sound as you play higher up. This sounds very similar to the 3 leaf you're Doom currently going for tons of money online, great for Moog like tones. It also has a fuzzy square wave tone an octave down, with a volume and colour (tone) so it can be used alone or in conjunction with the normal Fuzz sound. When Fuzz and octave are switched on together, they run in parallel for a cleaner more dynamic synth tones. It's in fantastic condition, with a pretty blue Octopuss orgy on the front, and with the original box. £100 incl UK only delivery
  11. I trust the Guykers did the trick. (I bought some to check them out and found that mechanically they were fine, but finishes were very inconsistent.) Did you get a satisfactory outcome for active passive for your UNI 5K?
  12. I have Instagram and Facebook accounts. As a retired photographer , bass player and amp nerd I put up pics. And the odd garden pic. Spend more time on Facebook than Instagram. The pics , except for the garden shots are just generally done with an IPad. https://www.instagram.com/scotbrownmorrow/ https://www.facebook.com/morrow.scotbrown
  13. Good advice. I’m thinking I’ll try some nickels on it for a flatter response. I’m hoping it evens the sound out a bit too.
  14. Cod Was Never On Your Side - Motorhead

  17. We run Tomorrows Girls, Homicide and Tommygun together for the first three of our first set with the punk band. We've also cheated and taken Valley up to E......😁👍

  19. I just answered a question to a Terry M. I trust that was your email, Terry.
  20. Lovely looking bass. As well as the truss-rod, do these have carbon rods reinforcing the neck?
  21. Don’t know the circumstances, but happy to help one of our own. Hope things work out alright Lee.
  22. Have you tried blowing on it, or rapidly firing the mains switch to help purge the ROM? Or what about using a higher voltage power supply to 'kick start' it? te he I'm done now. Right. I agree. Sounds Feecked. Poo.
  23. So, the power button is a push in style as opposed to a switch. There have been times when I’ve reached down to push the button in and I’ve taken my finger off too quickly accidentally so it springs back out, but the power had a chance to turn on very briefly. I think doing that too times many caused a surge on the power board, which is what was repaired recently and is potentially what needs repairing again. Hopefully that helps mate!
  24. When i was with the punk band we did Into The Valley by the skids which is drop tuned on the E to D. I start the song so it can't proceed until i'm ready and the next song Alternative Ulster by SLF which has a decent guitar intro and i had plenty of time to tune back up to the E again. To be fair the band usually waited until i gave them the nod before starting the next song. Dave
  25. We use a Starling account for the band. It really is only 10 mins to set one up
