Picked this up with a jazz I purchased. Planned to fit it in one of my basses but have never got around to it. And I’m quite sure I would pay to get it fitted and change my mind after a week as I’m really just a passive jazz type player. This means it’s not tested by myself so I don’t know if it works. Ideally like to sell it to someone who can fit and test it themselves, and is comfortable doing so. I did plan on fitting it and have purchased some extra battery terminals which I’ll include in the sale. if it doesn’t work properly then I will pay to have it posted back and refund you right away.

The asking price is £1450 and not £1700, my adding up as to what I paid for it plus the work refinishing was wrong... Here we have an early CS Jass that I acquired a few years ago It was refinished in a deep pink colour, I took off the neck and could see that it was originally a Daphne blue colour I had my Luthier strip it right back and professionally finished in the original colour that it left the factory Luckily the neck stamp and pocked stamp were intact and you can still see some of the original colour in the pocket Binding has been applied to the outer edges of the neck Gold tuners,knobs, control plate and screws are original to the bass, new gold bridge installed I had the scratchplate imported from the states which is 62-66 period correct The pickups that came with it were not that great and not original to the bass so I have installed Fender pure vintage 66 ones The gold bridge cover came with the bass so I dont know if the original one got replaced at some stage I can just about make out the date as June 1988 or 89 A battery compartment had been added at the back and a toggle switch to the control plate as an active circuit was installed but the original circuit reinstated No case came with it but I will add a Fender moulded case to keep it safe for travel Weight is 4.4 Kg's A black strap and strap locks as pictured are also included any question please fire away

I'm selling my Sterling Stingray. I bought it here on BC three years ago and although I love it I'm just not playing it so it's time to find it's new owner. It's had mostly light home use since I've had it, I've only ever done 3 or 4 gigs on it. There are three tiny marks on the paint which are hard to see, aside from that it's in top condition. It's really light, the action is low and it plays like a dream. It's currently strung with D'Addario 35-95s. I also have a white 3ply scratchplate for it, I'll throw that in too. And it comes with a decent Ibanez gig bag as well. I'd rather not get into shipping so it's collection from London N4, or a meet up somewhere convenient. Any question feel free to PM me. Cheers.

Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Since acquiring four Precisions and eying up another plus also needing a Jazz, it’s become surplus. I have an addiction at the moment. I admit it. There I’ve said it. I also need an original Barefaced Compact 15 and an original Midget 😂😂😂😂 Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.
