  1. Past hour
  2. Hypex made the modules and yes, they are still very much in business, so possibly an email to them might help too.
  3. Just back from a 70th birthday gig at a local rugby club with the Andy Wales Band. We’d played for the same chap’s birthday last year so knew the venue etc (seemed to be dark, wet and windy last time we were loading in too come to think of it). I was feeling pretty ropey from my flu jab two days ago, and have also managed to do something to my lower back which made lifting and turning impossible but luckily the other two fellas helped me unload and set up the PA etc. I wasn’t able to move much during the gig but musically it went pretty well. Swapped out some of the slower stuff for more upbeat tunes to keep the dance floor busy. Drove home v slowly in very thick freezing fog which was nice. But I came home to the jackpot - leftover Chinese food from my missus’ meal which I’d missed earlier in the night, and Dire Straits Live Alchemy on Sky Arts. All is well once again. Gear: the usual. Yamaha BB604, Little Mark head and two traveller cabs, pedal board and my Mackie / Allen and Heath PA.
  4. Yesterday
  5. Old tce SCF: it's also a flanger, and nowadays I like the flanger sound, not the basic chorus anymore. Maybe those new tce choruses have the same options via TonePrint.
  6. I bought a boules mesh chair as I work from home and I wanted a decent chair (actually, my wife wanted to throw out my old chair as it was very grubby), and it was without doubt the worst chair I had ever sat on, no idea who it was moddled on but it was terrible. So we contacted them back, they sent a cushion, and that didn't cut it. So we wrote back and they said I could swap for a different chair, so I swapped for a Master chair, which was also on sale at the time and it is the most comfortable chair I have had. I never worked out how one company could produce two so totally different chairs! Anyway, that one is fantastic
  7. Yep fuse is fine as are the connections in the 240v plug.

  10. Now sporting a rather smart black scratchplate courtesy of North West Guitars.
  11. I just tried the GHS Precision flats because I got some cheap. I normally use Dunlop and found the Fender 9050L flats are good too. I was pleasantly surprised with the GHS Flats. Very nice and they complement my active pickup on my Warwick bass. I think they'll be my go-to flatwounds for awhile.
  12. Well, luckily you also work for DR strings, so I guess they will be pretty easy for you to pick up!
  13. Don't Forget About Me — Dusty Springfield
  14. Memory - Elaine Paige
  15. These are Absolutely fantastic , units I use one as a Tubescreamer , a RAT and a Big muff , this thing gives you all the benefit of " behaving like analog pedals with blend functionality but with the flexibility of pugging the thing in and swapping the "Pedal sim " for somthing else on the menu . A huge stable of options , And even the ability to switch it from " toggle to latch" for those ... i want my Fuzz in the Chorus only moments, So much versatility for the price , bargain.

  23. Sorry to correct you but the scale length of Boldog Jazzy 5 basses is 34.5" (I personally know the luthier and have a fantastic Jazzy 5-string fretless). I think this is an advantage of the instrument, a golden middle way between 34" and 35".
