Cool little amp for home-practice or small-medium gigs. It’s only had light home use with me, and so is in as-new condition and boxed. Part-ex’s in the form of a Guild Starfire II in ‘Natural’ or a Sire P5R 5 string in white welcome! Collection preferred from near High Wycombe, but can post for £7. Cheers Si

Performer diddled with for half an hour, then put into it's case for the first time in a long time (I had to repair the handle, and it's few outings in the last ten years have been in a jazz bass case).
-
Why not. '65 P, gigged the same day it arrived. A good few years ago now, though there was a backup in case it crapped out on me.

Just seen Olivia Rodrigo do a song called Brutal, which sounded a lot like Pump It Up by Elvis Costello, so did a google and turns out he was more than happy with it and said no legal action - fair play Elvis!

Now Glastonbury is over, have some more music and get over to the Basschat Composition Challenge for June and vote for some mighty fine tunes 👍
-
I enjoyed what I saw of Rod Stewarts set, and it looked like he and his band did too. Also thought Ronnie Wood seemed to be having more fun than he does with the Stones.
-
My thoughts on Rod Stewart’s Glastonbury set. For me, it started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle, and the less said about the end, the better. But, apart from that, excellent.

Didn’t see Smith coming, was expecting Sheeran 😁

From what I’ve seen she certainly is. Didn’t know anything by her - or who she is tbh - but she is good.
-
Isn’t she just , fair play

Stevie Wonder in Cardiff on 9th July then Neil Young with Cat Stevens at Hyde Park on 11th, then Smashing Pumpkins with my 15yo daughter in London on 10th August. Took her to watch Guns and Roses at Villa Park last week as well which she really enjoyed, and I also saw Mike Watt with MSSV a couple of weeks ago in Bristol. Pipe that live music right into my veins 😂
-
My 6-year old granddaughter went to see her in Hyde Park on Friday. Hope she (Olivia Rodrigo) kept her potty mouth to herself 😊 That aside, she's very good

They are all crap, really, because of the design as it's just a disguised barrel jack. I'm using these barrel jacks with great longevity for many years: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alnicov-Stereo-Copper-Guitar-Cylinder/dp/B08L69K6QH/

If more people phoned experts the world would be a safer place! The wiring in our house (a former HMO) was declared incredibly dangerous by my friend (an electrician, obvs). We had the whole place redone just so we can sleep soundly at night. I’m not an expert in anything, but there are some things I’d never take a risk with. We now take a plug tester to all our gigs, too, after the lead singer got a shock once.
