  2. GL M-2000 Tribute Bass neck in great condition Bought for a project that never happened! Fitted with decent Gold Finish Machine heads -- Truss rod works fine. Any inspection welcome or can Post at Cost --- Heel size in photos
  3. Depending on the needs, the Zoom B2 Four and B6 are also worth checking too.
  4. Although the numbers are irrelevant (there is no real standard for that), the chapman stick railboard have a fret marker on the 2nd fret (2, 7, 12, 17 - who knows why).

  6. The dots are where they are on a standard Megatar, with dots on the second, 5th, and 7th frets. There should be some form of damping between the fret closest to the nut (which would be a zero fret) and the next one. And it's definitely real otherwise it wouldn't have been in the Gardiner and Houlgate auction. Strangely, looking for an example of a Megatar that shows the damping, there's at least one other fan fret one in the wild, definitely a different one to the one in the auction: https://reverb.com/item/57475214-mobius-megatar-megatar-1997-black-brown which shows the damping.
  7. As a result of all of you posting I think I have GAS. Damn you all 🤣😂 I was about to recommend looking at U'King for absurdly cheap Chinese made LED lighting. My mini laser projector came from there, as did a couple PAR cans that proved too powerful to use. 180W of LED, that has to be a mis-print or bull***t?! Possibly as I've no way of measuring but the only venue I've found them useful is outdoors. I was really sceptical about anything this cheap as we probably all are but they've always been really good in the sense of as described and delivered on time. Anyway I digress, whist checking out a link for them I found an led bar that has a moving head for £28 on eBay, so I've ordered one and will get a second if it is any good. I'll report back on what I find. Can anyone go lower than this for a usable led bar? This is getting silly, in a good way Here

  11. Stunning wood top !
  12. Got this in a trade on here recently but it’s just not got much use. Between the green Russian and the grey stache that I own I have my fuzz needs covered. This one is two big muffs running in parallel, one of them has a standard tone control, the other has a mid boost/cut. Certainly a lot to play with and a lot of sounds to be gotten out of it! No original box with this but will be packaged securely. Price will include postage in the UK

  14. Price drop to £360 with UK postage Hi Everyone, I’m selling my Sennheiser EW 100 G4 Wireless Instrument System with Ci1 (E Band) £380 - including UK postage I’ve used this once live and less than a handful of times in a pre-prod environment. Owned for a couple of years and it lived in a rack. Complete with all original parts, plus the extra rack components for mounting and a couple of extra right angle cables for the body pack. Cheers!

  17. Hi Andy where is the gold one from please? I’m interested for my p bass. Many thanks
  18. I would be surprised if there weren't previous transcriptions of this but, in celebration of the album's 50th anniversary, this is the complete Mike Rutherford bass part for the title track of the Genesis masterpiece, 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway'. Tougher than would would expect and all done with a pick. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/the-lamb-lies-down-on-broadway-genesis/
  19. Last saw one of these being played at the Mos Eisley Cantina.
  20. You are not alone @binky_bass... 😉 Instead of speaking of boutique basses, I prefer the term luthier basses, because this is what are my basses and if I've gone that path, it's because I couldn't find what I was looking for in mass produced instruments when I started playing fretless bass 40+ years ago, yes I really started with a fretless as it's the bass tone I hear in my head. Before the first fretless I had an awful Maya EB-2, then a way better Ibanez SoundGear SDGR 800, but I was simply noodling, and then came the first fretless, a now long gone Aria Diamond Violin that had been defretted by Christophe Leduc to my request and fitted with EMG pickups including a piezo pickup: It sounded ace and made me want to take lessons to learn music, but I was attracted by the fretless ERB, hence these luthier made basses that started my love for these instruments, because I had no other option available back then. That said, I like some vintage instruments too for what they are, and even if I'm a vintage Fender expert (some mates here can confirm this), I don't own any Fender vintage instruments anymore, because they don't meet my requirements at all. It's all about tone, nothing more, and, yes, I fancy coffee table fretless basses as well as ultra well thought instruments designed around efficiency and tone. So, please, accept that we don't all like the same stuff. 😉
  21. Been there... Many times. 🤣
  22. Take The Long Way Home - Supertramp
