  3. PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £300. Easily the best speaker cabinet I have ever used: am downsizing to lighter Genz Benz cabs as I rarely play live now. The Eden D210XST Cab is loud enough to be heard and yet still small enough to be used at home or in a small studio. For those players who need a portable, high-performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10" cabinet for their XST woofers. Punchy and clean, the D210XST produces a full and clear tone through its two 10" speakers. It's excellent for delivering articulate bass lines with volume. This 2 x 10" cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10" cabs on the market. The D210XST offers huge bottom end with its cleverly-designed tuned and ported cabinet construction and speaker selection: the low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well-defined and the highs are clear and crisp. Durable build quality makes this ideal for touring and live performances. All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8" thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory in the USA. Very Good condition. Comes with an official Eden cover. Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms Speakers: 2x10" Eden-spec Eminence EC1060XS speakers Tweeter: Eden Cast Bell low distortion Crossover: 3.5KHz @ 18dB Frequency Response: 30Hz - 14KHz Sensitivity: 103dB SPL Connections: Parallel 1/4 Inch and Speakon Dimensions: 23" w x 18" h x 18.5" d Weight: 59lbs / 26.8kg NOW ONLY £300. 5. Hi Terry. I have had some interest – maybe things are just slow these days. I'm surprised it's still here, to be honest!
  6. Ive tired many Comps over the years, but this is the only one Ive really taken to. So easy to use. Very, very small. https://becosfx.com/product/compiq-mini-pro-compressor-pedal-for-guitar-bass/#description

  8. Pervert 🤮
  9. Each to their own :), have a good one
  10. At least we know it’s good for metal……
  11. Agreed. But the MXR sounded plenty good enough for a live band mix to me? Loved his descriptor of "blue collar bassist" - made me want to get his book, but seems to be kindle only now?
  12. If we could plan something for tomorrow that would be great!
  13. So, who'll be using their limited edition Pino Palladino Stingray at the Tickled Trout? 😁
  14. Nice looking bass in great condition and quite tempting 👍 Might help the sale to say where you are based 🤷‍♂️ If, like your name, its in Cairo, it may reduce your possibilities! 🤣🤣
  15. Add me down. I'm @neepheid gofer Westone Thunder bass Westone Thunder guitar 3d printed headless bass 3d printed guitar Fender Jazz MIJ 97 Fender Jazz bitsa active Fender Strat MIJ 87 Fender Mustang bass Ibanez Mikro bass I have some interesting ideas for my next 3d printed bass but that's dependent on pulling finger out. I might acquire some small amps before then or I might not. Yes I swing both ways and play guitar and bass. I've no pride whatsoever.
  16. Give us a demo - You know you want to.
  17. what kind of music are you playing. Just curious to hear about others. Dave
  18. Yep always take the positive @Stub Mandrel Hopefully home soon tho. Are you bored or just chilling out while staff run after you. 😂 I remember breaking my leg playing footie and loved being in hospital. I had no work to worry about and was able to sit and read motorbike and bass mags all day for a week or so. (Leg was broken in 2 places and pinned) Dave
  19. Hi loz, thanks for replying, I just need a basic practice amp, these seem ok, have a rig for gigs but have been practicing using a £30 job that’s just died, i can meet anytime, Stalybridge station any good?
  20. I always thought it was paid for thru your taxes and NI was for sickness payments and/or pensions. No expert to be fair but i do recall there being a strong sided debate on BC about it and that was one of the points that i took from it. If its been said on BC then it must be true cause this is the Gospel according to bassists. Dave
  21. I've got some hardware I think.
  22. In a very sad turn of events Juan Alderete announced yesterday that he’ll be selling lots of his gear on Reverb, presumably as he can no longer play. Or at least not the way he wants to. No store link yet but it’s going live some time next week, I believe. Announced on this Instagram post of anyone wants more info.
  23. That does look gorgeous. Wish I hadn't looked it up.
  24. As a main band I'd have to say Mingus Tree, which I joined probably 4-5 years ago. Most of the members are based in Charlbury and we mostly play around that area, e.g. at the beer festival or other Cricket Club events such as the Oktoberfest. Also fetes, pubs, and sometimes private parties. The gig schedule is pretty relaxed, which suits me nicely. The material is jazz, though the tunes are quite accessible with fairly simple arrangements, catchy grooves (sometimes Ska or Reggae-like) and lyrics to some of the pieces; listeners who "hate jazz" have often told me that they enjoyed our sets. It's almost all original material written by the trumpet and guitar players (who founded the band long ago). There's not much I've managed to get on record but there is a video of us struggling through some bad weather at Ramsden fete and a song from a Charlbury gig where I was recovering from an inner ear infection and struggling to stay upright. I'd like to get a proper recording done but never managed it.
