This may sound odd, but I've never been so upset to lose a friend I've never met in person. And she was a friend. Full of fun, mischief but also as @Clarky said, so very positive. Pete and Terri were a fantastic couple. Their online banter between each other, on here, and FB has had me in stitches. And if you were going through a rough patch, even if she wasn't feeling her best, she'd make a point of sending a lovely message. I'll miss her. You're in our thoughts @Tinman. Take care Pete. RIP Terri
  4. Almost new Harley Benton SpaceShip 40 with Hardcase and all that was delivered with it. Used only a few times at home, but put back in its box since I bought an HeadRush Core. OPENED TO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding overseas territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom: €60 EUR (£50 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros, furthermore the new price is €89 EUR or £77 GBP)!!! Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EU. Non-smoking environment as usual. What you see is what you get! Link to the Harley Benton SpaceShip 40 with Hardcase Thomann website page: https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_spaceship_40_w_hardcase.htm Don't hesitate to ask for more details, but, please, before asking read my ad first as the answer is certainly already in it! Reminder of the legislation on sales between individuals: Second–hand goods that you buy from private individuals are not covered by EU consumer rules, which means there is no guarantee and no return possible! 5. Little used since Covid, probably time to move this on. Yes, I do realise that these cost £800 new. Yes, I do know that £300 is laughably cheap. Dimensions (w x h x d): 120 x 10 x 80 cm, 47,2“ x 3,9“ x 31,5“ Weight: 21,5 kg, 47,4 lbs I'm also aware that Bass Direct do not have these in stock, and that they're getting quite hard to find. The Bass Direct blurb runs: Bass players, Keyboard players and DJ’s using In-Ear systems on stage suffer from lacking punch and sub frequencies which prevent them from controlling their playing. How do I sound out there? Am I always tight with the drummer? I can’t hear myself! Most of you might be familiar with this …The BassBoard is the ideal subwoofer floor for stages, studio, rehearsal room or even bedroom. Two TS300 transducers moving the bass into your body. A great experience many musician are not willing to do without any longer. Feeling your instrument and what you play has never been as intense before. The additional phones out and the vibration-proof suspension of the base plate let you rehearse at home late at night without bothering your neighbours. This is a big, heavy thing that doesn't fit any 'normal' size of cardboard box. The knock-down price is for collection from Harrow HA1, or will met within a 30-min drive for a pint.
  6. Also, the notion that a gear list from March would stay current until October was frankly laughable. In my defence, I was attempting to do gear abstinence, but a white whale appeared which I had been chasing on and off for 12 years put paid to that but I've gone on a bit of a bender since. To balance things out, 2 off that initial list have been sold, got another one up for sale. TL:DR I'll let you know what's coming about a week before the bash - I think I can make it a week without buying or selling a bass...
  7. Current plan is to stay over Sat night, location TBC.
  8. Love With The Madman - Be Bop Deluxe

Going back quite a long way, some of you might remember her... Mrs Tinman lost her fight with cancer at the end of June.
