    Well… that’s something of a misleading question as, of course Ali Express is a selling platform, they don’t make gear themselves. You’re buying from an individual builder or company so it’ll depend entirely on which seller you’re buying from and I’m sure they all use different bits… some will be ok, some will not! That being said, the electronics in this one seem to work pretty well! No humms or hisses and the EQ and controls all do what they should.. I popped the back off to have a look and it seems to be a “Mings” preamp.. never heard of them but works fine!

    After a few beers at Christmas I ordered a knock off Dingwall from Ali express.. I woke up the next morning to an email from the seller asking what “customisations” I wanted.. what a treat.. a custom bass!!… so I went to town, orange finish, 3 x pickups, maple neck… and a custom headstock logo! It arrived this morning - it’s awesome!! Obviously it’s not actually a finely crafted, custom instrument - but the finish is pretty clean and it sounds good, all the electrics work and it’s very playable!! The hardware is a bit lightweight… but for £279… it’s a lot of bass!

    Late 70s / early 80s vox white shadow fretless bass - quite rare good quality bass - made in Japan. Perfect working order, no crackles or hisses! Very playable and sounds brilliant. Also included is original, vox, fitted hard case. Currently strung with flat wounds - could probably use a fresh set! View / test / collect from Exmouth.

    Awesome Fender Precision Plus from 1989. Amazing condition for age. Lace sensor pickups, series / parallel switch, all original with original Fender hard shell case.     Yamaha TRB-5P - through neck bass with Piezo and an installed Roland GR MIDI system. Also included is a Roland V-Bass unit - very rare and in perfect working order. Together these make an absolutely killer bass rig, sounds and plays fantastically. Now…. When the GR system was installed the previous owner cracked the body, purely cosmetic and has been repaired and is completely sound but looks a bit of a mess up close (looks fine from a couple of meters!). Doesn’t affect playability or function / sound but.. it is what it is.. grab a bargain because of it Available to view / test / collect in Exmouth, Devon Any questions just ask
