    Hohner B2a

Yeah there’s surprisingly little on the net to help…. I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Thanks anyway 👍🏻
  4. Yeah its sweet. Guess it only works over wood? What if you were put it over nitro? I always feel the satin nitro finish I got on my King Mortone refinish could do with a bit more depth and shine, like they used to have.
  5. “Noel Gallagher's divorce settlement from Sara MacDonald reportedly involved a £20 million payment to her, along with the transfer of their £8 million Hampshire home. This financial agreement was reached following their 22-year marriage. The divorce settlement also included a detailed financial disclosure process, requiring both parties to reveal their assets and any significant changes in income. Key Details: £20 Million Payout: Noel Gallagher paid Sara MacDonald £20 million as part of the divorce settlement. £8 Million Property Transfer: The couple's £8 million Hampshire home was also transferred to MacDonald.”
  6. Guff on me, Guff on you - Lonnie Mack
  7. Think it was 20 mil, not 200
  8. Hi all further downsizing of the basses means i am selling my well sorted Jazz Vintera ii. its in excellent order, and upgraded as follows - High mass bridge - Dunlop straplocks - Fender Noiseless pickups ( retail at £200!) - John Kiogin loom with seperate volume/tone for each pick up and series/parallel switch. Tonal bliss. - i have also had a pro wire wool the neck a small amount so its now super fast and nice to play - New Super Slinky strings - D tuner. Its reverse tune Hipshot as this bass has reverse tuners to suit its vintage look i would also say the new pick ups have a strong output (12k) so its a punchy bass capable if vintage and modern tones. a bargain with all of these upgrades methink, and includes a gig bag. prefer collection, if possible and happy to do some driving to meet you
  9. Only the A string is left now. Plus the slightly older D and G in my other listing. the D and G in this listing have now gone.
  10. I think I’d just shoot the ex-wife
  11. Good to hear you’re out & about
  12. 200 million??? I'd fire that accountant!!
  13. I'm out at last. Mri was clear but still unsteady and probably will take a weekor two to recover. Had to bow out of three gigs with three bands this weekend but they have all been great about it. Gutted as was really looking forward to it
  14. I think they were red, white and blue - UK flag colours (UK distributor anniversary). I notice one or two demos of the Pino Stingrays are starting to appear on You Tube.
  15. The Hardest Fart — Coldplay (unfortunately recordings do exist of coldplay)
  16. Great basses! My Elrick Expat Evo 5 quickly became my goto gigging bass after I acquired it from @Sibob of this parish (who is a far more capable bassist than me!) back in 2021. Not sure I would have had the confidence to acquire one new back then, given the cost, but was keen to try one out as, on paper, it ticked so many boxes for me and being able to buy one used was a godsend! I've been really delighted with it and won't be parting company with mine any time soon! Little clip of the bass in action at a recent outdoor gig - set on neck pup in active mode with tone knobs flat, with preamp EQ duties being handled by my GT1000 Core pedal: LA Mixtrax - Bletchley Park

  22. What do you feel you will gain with a pickup swap out of interest?
  23. So I've been to The Gallery and tried the Elrick 5 string in the link. It's a very well made instrument and looks incredible but unfortunately it wasn't the bass for me. For one I struggle with the sound of Bart pickups. It was also too light for me like REALLY light and I felt the sound suffered as a result. Sorry I couldn't be more upbeat but I only present my opinions, these are by no means facts. I put it back and picked up a Stingray 5 and it put a huge smile on my face immediately in contrast.
  24. Looks good. I have recently gone to using my MS-1, its nice step up to have stereo after my XVive. Its a good idea having the two recievers although that means that you need people who want the same mix.
  25. Aye... My heart bleeds for the fella!
