  2. I found this guy on Youtube. He is spot on. Everything he mentions has happened to me and I can totally relate to all of his experiences, even though he lives and gigs in Australia.
  3. Here we have an early CS Jass that I acquired a few years ago It was refinished in a deep pink colour, I took off the neck and could see that it was originally a Daphne blue colour I had my Luthier strip it right back and professionally finished in the original colour that it left the factory Luckily the neck stamp and pocked stamp were intact and you can still see some of the original colour in the pocket Binding has been applied to the outer edges of the neck Gold tuners, knobs, control plate and screws are original to the bass, new gold bridge installed I had the scratchplate imported from the states which is 62-66 period correct The pickups that came with it were not that great and not original to the bass so I have installed Fender pure vintage 66 ones The gold bridge cover came with the bass so I dont know if the original one got replaced at some stage I can just about make out the date as June 1988 or 89 A battery compartment had been added at the back and a toggle switch to the control plate as an active circuit was installed but the original circuit reinstated No case came with it but I will add a Fender moulded case to keep it safe for travel Weight is 4.4 Kg's A black strap and strap locks as pictured are also included any question please fire away
  4. I will accept £1100 for this.
  5. Great little headphone amp, just redundant for me as I have a Boss Katana Go and 2 Darkglass Elements and a Camden EC1 and and and. More information available here: &nbsphttps://www.nuxaudio.com/mighty-plug.html

  6. Fender Studio is new and free. I've had a little play and it seems pretty decent. Lots of drum loops to play with. You get some guitar amp sims too, so you can just plug straight into an audio interface, then audio interface into the tablet without needing other hardware. https://uk.fender.com/pages/fender-studio
  7. Brand new and never been installed, £75 delivered to UK addresses

  8. I bought these for a project that never happened, used but in good condition, £90 including delivery to UK addresses
  9. £100 takes it home!
  10. Fantastic bass pedal that covers you from overdrive to distortion and fuzz - gated as well. Just not playing in bands so I'm moving some gear - fantastic condition, #006 ☺️
  11. Maybe too simple for your needs and they don't make it anymore but cheap second hand and just records what ever you put through it and syncs to the app. It's not a looper.
  12. Dirty Pool — Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble
  13. Pete just bought my spare 5 string bass Paid very quickly and even rounded up the cost. Great comms and a real pleasure to deal with.
  14. Have you tried DR rounds at all?
  15. Reposted - Thought it may have regained a use, but the slot has been taken by another! Second chance!
  16. Sink The Pink - AC/DC
  17. Just like the Lakland Skylines IIRC. Excited to get mine. Since seeing the metallic black, I'm having 2nd thoughts with the white one on my way, maybe I can still ask BassDirect if I can still change
  18. I briefly owned an OG SB14 many years ago, but never played a USA Sterling. My question would be - what do you think you're missing out on by not having a EBMM Sterling?

  20. If intonation is ok but it's sharp as early as the 1st fret then the nut is cut too high.
  21. As above. This is a 2019 model. Great condition. A few very small blemishes which I’ve tried to picture but are really hard to catch on camera and can’t really be seen unless intentionally looking. (2 on top horn, one near bridge and one or two very little ones near the control plate) Also a little bit of bucklerash as this has been gigged for a year or so but nothing major. No noticeable marks to my eyes on the headstock. Really nice bass. Hipshot tuners which I’m not sure whether or not are standard but they’re on there since I bought it… Recently (3 weeks ago) professionally set up with EB Medium Slinkies. with a slight fret dress, so it’s a really nice low action with no high spots or choking. Honestly, plays like butter, whatever that plays like! I’ve also had the pickup cavity and pick guard copper shielded at the same time so it no longer has that pesky Mustang Hum. Only selling because try as I might, I just can’t seem to make it work for me. The split coil pickup which the Mustang is famous for sounds awesome but I can’t make it fit in my main gig and find myself craving more ‘honk’ that comes from having a bridge pickup. Comes with a full size bass hard case which I’ve adapted to fit the short scale with some wood & foam. Works a treat. Also comes with Schaller S Locks. And, I think I’ve got an old set of Fender flatwounds cut to fit it which I’ll chuck in. The original strap pins are also in the case and I can knock £20 off if you don’t want the Schallers. I can also include the Fender strap for an additional £10. Looking for £650 £630 collected from TF5 where I have very nice coffee and a biscuit or 2 available, and a nice amp you can try through. Or, i think i have a box and can pack up if you wanted to organise a courier. And… I can potentially meet within about 30-40 mins of TF5 . Will consider trades/part trades for short scales especially a Fender Japan Junior Jazz Bass or Gibson Jr Les Paul Tribute, and potentially 5 strings. But, sale is preferred so happy to see what you’ve got. Thanks in advance. Alex

  22. Bought as a backup to my preamp and no longer required. Nice little pedal for the money. Used at home a couple of times but that’s it. £20 £15 posted or collection from Telford. Tar! Alex
  23. Had this for about 8 years. Light use with a few scuffs. Sat on a board for a while and used as a volume pedal so no longer has the rubber feet. £30 inc. postage or collection from Telford. NOW £25 POSTED Tar! Alex
  24. I’ve re-listed this with a price increase due to fix the majority of the issues with it. So… A friend messaged as soon as I posted it last time saying he wanted to buy it. Long story short he messed me around for a couple of weeks and never ended up actually buying it. So, I decided to keep hold of it and get it cleaned up. I took it to my local tech who contact cleaned it and added a new power input jack so all of the crackling has gone. But, he said it needs a new foot switch and it sometimes doesn’t fully engage when pressed the first time. As I was only using it at home I didn’t bother spending more on the switch as he charged me £30 for the clean up and new input. But I’m just not using it so decided to re list it. It was £80 last time so was going to re list at £105 inc postage in order to to get a little back from the clean up spend. Here’s a video of it showing the intermittent footswitch. He said it’s a fairly simple fix, I just didn’t want to spend any more of it at that point. The original listing below… 100% on how to price this but… It’s in desperate need of a service and needs the power connection replacing as it’s a bit loose. Note - this was converted to be powered only years ago and no longer runs on batteries. They go anywhere between £160-£200 brand new with box etc in a good condition. Which, this is not. It was bought for me as a Christmas present in about 2003/4 (Imagine my parents face when they read ‘Russian big muff’ on my Xmas list 😂) Used solidly for about 8 years and has signs of such use including remnants of the gaffer tape I used to use to hold the position of the knobs. It’s sat in storage since about 2011. So, I’m going to put it up at £80 which is half of the cheapest perfect condition, working price I’ve seen. But, I’m not trying to rip anyone off so open to offers on this and wouldn’t write off trades for preamps, Chorus or compression pedals, or cases for short scales. +£5 postage to mainland UK https://youtube.com/shorts/jxTjulbQicg?si=duFNeNoyczDZiy5Q
  25. You say intonation is good, at which fret? How far up the neck do you have to go before it's in tune?
