  1. Past hour
  2. But the Fender reference number links to the correct neck, see above.
  3. Rod betrayed his then extraordinary voice 40-years ago
  4. Tim Minchin, Birmingham Symphony Hall, July 9th. Should be good fun. Spare ticket going if anyone's interested- see the Recycling forum.
  5. Switched telly on to.. Celeste? Beyond less than impressed, seemed terribly self indulgent. 20 minutes later Im hooked...Shes definitely an interesting individual.
  6. Let's give this a go again. EMGs added to replace the anemic stock pickups. String retainer added to even out string balance which did the trick. More pics available on request. Great bass at a bargain price. Thanks Martin
  7. Anyone with half a brain shojld be able to see the L and N pins won't go fully home until the pencil is removed. No pearl clutching required.
  8. It's a bit worrying that two of the three photos show a six-string Telecaster neck...
  9. Let me fix that for you 😁
  10. The Dingwalls are cracking basses for the money but i'm not spending a lot on any more gigging basses after my VM4 was knocked off its stand by a drunken bum while sitting on stage and i was getting changed after the gig. If i can and have the space i take my bass into changing area when not on stage but not all changing rooms have that amount of space. Dave
  11. Strange how some people keep their voice - Neil Young for one but Arthur Brown is another.
  12. Bassrig Super Vintage for sale. It is in superb condition and full working order, has Velcro on the bottom so will go straight on your pedal board. I do not have the original box unfortunately but can pack it safely for postage if required. The item is located in Leicester but I am happy to post within the Uk with Royal Mail Special delivery.
  13. I did like my NG2 5 stringer and now sticking with 4 strings that would be nice too but its approx £1k more than the Epi. Dave
  14. The Forest Whispers My Name - Cradle Of Filth
  15. Our very own @neepheid has it and is at this very moment offering me to come over for a visit to try it plus he's dropped me the link to the new ones. You can't beat BC for helpful friends. Dave
  16. Just watched a bit of Rod. I like the guy but I`m thinking it`s time to knock it on the head. He made a right bollox on Maggie Mae and his voice sounds quite weak. And yes I do know the guy is 80 but there comes a time...
  17. The Trees - Rush
  18. I wouldn't normally post anything off TB here, but this comment on someone's TE acquisition is too good not to quote: "my other equipment has started to orbit it it's so heavy"
  19. Seems a decent geezer 👍
  20. I wish I'd had a tenner on Nile Rogers at William Hill. Clear winner.
  21. Watching The Brian Jonestown Massacre is a fine opportunity for lookalike spotting. Neil Young is singing, one of the geeky students from The Simpsons is drumming and they even had @Stub Mandrel playing hand drums on their first song.
  22. I quite like this Noah Kahan fella… Guild Startire 2 bass…lovely.
  23. Comes with free mortgage …

The onboard chromatic tuner supports both standard and drop bass tunings, and you can opt to either bypass all effects during tuning or to mute the outputs so that you can tune in silence. Last but not least, the MS-60B's Tap Tempo feature allows you to to set delay times and modulation effect frequencies in real time to the rhythm of the song you're playing. 1 Pedal, 58 Great Bass Effects Cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-60B. It offers 58 great-sounding ways to craft the perfect bass tone. For ease of use, these are organized into the following categories: Dynamics / Filter Shape and control your low end with these 19 different compressors, limiters, equalizers, filters, exciters, and frequency splitters, plus Zoom's Noise Reduction (ZNR) algorithm, designed to remove noise during pauses while still maintaining your instrument's natural tone. Other options here include a bass frequency-specific AutoWah and "talking" modulator, as well as emulations of the MXR DynaComp, Aphex Punch Factory, dbx 160A, BBE Sonic Maximizer, Q-Tron Envelope Filter, Moog MF-101, and Z. Vex Seek-Wah. Overdrive / Distortion The MS-60B's 11 boosters, overdrives, and direct inject / preamp models include simulations of the BOSS ODB-3, DS-1, and Metal Zone, as well as the Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff, SansAmp Bass Driver DI, MXR Bass D.I.+, Xotic Bass BB Preamp, and Avalon Design U5. Amp The 6 amp models provided here include emulations of classic tube amplifiers like the Ampeg SVT and Fender Bassman, as well as the contemporary sounds of the Hartke HA3500, acoustic 360, Aguilar DB750, and Italian Markbass Little Mark III, each with its own distinct cabinet modeling that can be used to further alter the tonal quality. What's more, you can pair any amp model to any cabinet model for unusual, and often striking effects. Modulation / Special effects You'll find 14 different modulation and special effects here, all specially crafted for bass. These include phasing, flanging, chorusing, tremolo, detuning, and pitch shifting, as well as a sub-octave generator and an intelligent bass synthesizer that plays along in key—even a DeFret effect that changes the tone of a fretted bass into that of a fretless. Delay / Reverb The MS-60B's cutting-edge DSP microchip performs 32-bit floating-point calculations, giving it the ability to create sophisticated studio-quality effects such as the 8 rich, dense reverbs, and realistic spatial simulations found here. These allow you to place your bass in natural-sounding spaces such as rooms and halls or to add delays of up to 4 seconds. Also included is slap-back echo and a reverb plate emulation, as well as reverse, modulated, and self-oscillating delays.
  25. Like all things reggae, what appears, on the surface, simple, is more often than not, extraordinarily difficult. I once depped on drums for a reggae band thinking it would be a piece of pish... It wasn't just difficult, I found it impossible. Reggae bass lines are, likewise, bastards.
