I'd recommend the MXR M234 Analog Chorus. It is a great clone version of the Boss CE2, which is one of the best chorus pedals for bass. But the MXR is much cheaper than a Boss original. Or, for more bang for your buck, the OBNE Visitor gives you a great chorus, but with phase and tremolo options. https://oldbloodnoise.com/pedals/p/visitor-parallel-multi-modulator?srsltid=AfmBOoqftJwoJPDwYx_WaFTju3zkEtofEFyiWeb672UAPiZZxSQtuOnp

I will definitely keep You posted. I committed and took my neck off and adjusted the truss rod. Took a half turn. Next bass I get I want to be able to access the truss rod without taking off the neck. Never tried the ghs flats.

Before my life as a professional musician I used to work in IT. I also really liked advertising that I'd much rather have been doing music than being there, so I had a BassChat business card in my ID card holder. Imagine my embarrasment on the occasion we're all stood in a lift and my "i-have-no-social-filter-and-dont-know-when-to-shut-up" colleague spotted said business card, the letter B obscured by my lanyard..

A bit of high power silliness, the Jaco Pastorius bass part for the Buster Brown tune 'Fannie Mae' from the 1982 Big Band album 'Twins'. Just great fun. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/pac-man-blues-fannie-mae-jaco-pastorius-big-band/

I considered the same, but the depth issue is actually very minor… it’s still effectively one rail of a pedaltrain- this just overhangs the space between rails more. Compared to have much space 12 loops worth of QM’s would be… it’s tiny. And I love the QM! This is just super good for the size.

Definitely not in the spirit of BC, a place where we hope that everyone is honest and not out to scam anybody. I just sold my Aria IGB68, I’m happy to say.- 5 replies

Go West - Go West. I’d forgotten what a great album this is, with some top bass from Richard Drummie and Pino and fantastic guitar playing (both chops and tone) from the late, great Alan Murphy.

Another vote for the EBS multichorus. When I first went looking for a chorus pedal, I lined a bunch up, side by side and the EBS was the best sounding for my purposes. Another advantage of it is that it also has pitch modulation and flanger settings, plus an internal wet/dry trim pot. I haven’t felt the need to replace it since I bought it, which must be at least 15 years ago.
