  1. Past hour
  2. Good move. I was provided a backline of an EBS 250 and 2 110 cabs. That was a very good sound.
  3. Does whatever this video show exist outside of Instagram? I have recently done away with all my social media pages, so I can’t view it. Thanks.
  4. Telephone Line - ELO
  5. I think so too. It's £500 less than a new Mex Geddy and has upgraded noiseless pickups plus (I think) an even slimmer neck profile. Yes, some mods but the battery box is invisible to the audience! That said, the various BassChat FS fora are full of what appear to be absolute bargains that would have sold in minutes only a few years ago. Tough time to be selling
  6. Going Mobile - The Who
  7. That sounds interesting. Thanks. I'll check them out.
  8. Yes, it should be ok.
  9. Movin’ Out - Billy Joel
  10. I had a couple of EBS heads 750 and 752 Reidmar Awesome amps and although larger and heavier than some they worked really well
  11. Horray for Barbra Streisand ☺️ Si
  12. Steppin' Out - Joe Jackson
  13. Fabulous cabs. I had the 12”. Sound great., impeccably made and light as. GLWTS.
  14. Today
  15. Airport - The Motors
  16. Great little cab SIM pedal with XLR out and thru port. Quick and easy to load and recall IRs. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK postage. https://shop.hotoneaudio.com/products/omni-ir?srsltid=AfmBOopi3ArFUFryqxYVEzkyrXBmaNhRmgzbJ5g42nlMt8_bBx44r1P1

  17. My Fender American Standard P5 B string isn't the best. It's less noticeable when the strings are new but that B is duller than the others. It's not a pickup thing as you can tell acoustically.

  19. No probs ... if either of my Geddy J or lightweight CIJ P sell, I will be in touch
  20. Sorry, at capacity atm.
  21. Would you be interested in any bass trades?
  22. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry
  23. Was quite apprehensive/scared/terrified of fretless until I picked one up in earnest, now all my favourite instruments are fretless and I can't see that changing anytime soon
  24. Immaculate TE-1200, never gigged or left the house. Now surplus to requirements. Had a couple of hours usage alongside a Barefaced SuperTwinT which sounded sublime. Unused footswitch, cable, rack ears & gig bag included. I'm willing to split the package if needed. Original boxes and price includes UK postage. Collection welcome.
  25. Great pedal. I really enjoy mine. It does sound exceptional with an octave in front. https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3ODgxMzQ3NTY3MTMxNTc0?story_media_id=3488928505385232453&igsh=M2VvbWFlOXZ4cnc=
  26. Just a quick message to let everyone know that John of Noise Works did a fantastic job of fixing an awful banana neck on an eBay-acquired 1979 Shergold Marathon bass. I bought said bass a couple of months back and did everything I could (truss rod, low tension strings, filed some proud frets etc) but the bass was virtually unplayable - looks like it had sat in its case unplayed for years with high tension Rotosound steels. I tried the Shergold forum on FaceBook (thanks @ash for reminding me of this forum) and some peeps recommended John. Eventually I went with their advice. Over the course of a few weeks, John heat clamped the neck, fixed the dents and bumps on the back of the neck and levelled/polished the frets. The result is a slick playing, low action bass with loads of 70s/80s cred. Very reasonable price and friendly service too. Recommended!
