  8. Thank you 🙏🏽
  9. Yeah they’re lovely bodies, let me know if you want me to send it down 😉
  10. I'd completely missed them, thanks! But also couldn't see them, must have set Sort By to something stupid.
  11. Shure GLXD16 In excellent condition and comes with an extra battery too for the transmitter which is handy. Comes in the original box too and THE best wireless system I have ever used. I have the newer + version and this is my spare which I have never needed really, it's been on my back up board. I can take more pics for anyone interested and collection from me in Hexham is more than welcome too. Price includes UK Tracked Postage

  12. Cheers folks certainly food for thought 👍
  13. Fly to the Rainbow... And likes a but of Tokyo Tapes for Live. Black Out tour of '82 was my first BIG gig, Gamersmith Odeon. Had been to the Marquee in Wardour St and other smaller venues. They used to have a giant scorpion from a previous tour over the Hammy Odeon Bar years back.
  14. Ive started this one a few times but never finished it all the way through, it’s a great Robbie Shakespeare Bassline, I’m trying with fingers but I think Robbie played it with his thumb, so I’m trying both ways at the moment
  15. Thanks for re-sending the link Terry 👍 It looks very nice especially with the roasted neck. Very attractive colour combo. Does it play/sound as good as it looks?
  16. Yup - a formative influence on me as a young musician back in the day (the whole band rather than him as a bassist in particular in fairness). Him and Steve Harris are why I play a P bass.
  17. Your eyes will be sad, but your back will be overjoyed.
  18. Another track from the Joe Lovano album, Landmarks', mentioned above. Marc Johnson plays that head with Lovano and then kind of underpins Lovano's solo with a counterpoint line rather than a conventional bass part. Fascinating stuff. I wish this transcription had been around when I first got this album in 1991. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/street-talk-joe-lovano/
  19. Id like to see a Fender 5 string headless fan fret active with triple pickups and built in cheese board.
  20. Today
  21. The Hornet VHS has been doing this for a couple of years. Granted it's not free, but will do most of the more popular headphone types for €11, including the ubiquitous KZ ZS10s
  22. I'm on the lookout for a nice standard, passive, Precision - Fender US or Japan ideally but also happy to consider other good quality Precision style basses. Bonus points for natural finish / maple neck! Something of similar value would be great but, a bit of cash either way is fine too 💸
  23. Yes I noticed the Octamizer too but thought that was more likely to be digital than a comp. The comp is based on the original smaller one isn't it... which I thought was analog. Maybe it is correct as you say.
  24. That is a lovely P sound. Quite like the Pure Vintage derived "Coastline" one in my American Professional Classic. Very clean top end, but not too harsh or nasal sounding, and lovely and warm at the bottom.
