Yeah it saves having to leave space to insert a headphone jack or a lead if you are using it as an output.

Pbassman started following Line6 POD Express Bass
-
Line6 POD Express Bass I have recently purchased one of these and have found that any saved setting I make disappears after a day or two. Andertons only say to do a firmware update or a factory reset (which is their answer to everything) but neither worked. Has anyone else had this issue? Not a fan of pedals, but bought to cover a particular track and for general messing around. It has potential but not if it is unreliable or unstable.

A Angled headphone adapter is an excellent idea! -
Top left is my IEM transmitter. The DiCosimo and Broughton are always on effects. I could use the Stomp HP/LPF (and have done in the past) but the Broughton resonant bump is easier to achieve with the pedal. The DiCosimo is an easy EQ/boost solution to save going into the Stomp.

Bass Wielder started following Squier Jazz bass IV deluxe pickup set
-
As mentioned in this post :https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/520322-squier-jazz-deluxe-pre-amp-now-sold/ I have these for pickups sale. In great condition and all works fine. I have again modded a bass for my purposes so they are now spare. They are well made from a Squier model that’s well respected for its build and pricing. Ask away….. Collected from Aylesbury or UK postage at cost.

My latest pedal ... is not a pedal at all. I just took delivery of an early Christmas present to myself: an Elektron Tonverk. This is a sample-based workstation / groovebox / effects system, and the effects are most relevant here. You can feed a live audio signal through it, via analogue inputs or USB-C, and apply loads of effects to it. The effects are under full sequencer control, not only in the choice of effect per pattern, but also all the parameters, which can be modified down to the note if that's what you want. The effects aren't specific to any instrument but are pretty powerful, and include the expected (compressor, EQs (graphic, synth-style or parametric), modulation effects) and some odd ones (grain-based pitch shifting, "dirtshaper" overdrive/distortion, and some complex delays and reverbs. I'm still at work (?) and don't have any other gear here, so a full test will have to wait until the weekend.

'Tis the season... Vulfpeck - 'Christmas in L.A.' bass transcription A student brought a transcription they'd found online to a lesson, and the beaming was so wonky that it made reading the thing 10x harder than it needed to be, so I did my own chart. Some nice harmony in here, too.

Damn! Sorry..😱 The feel is great (you would obviously have to set up to your style/standard) and I would describe the ‘general tone’ (sorry) as very versatile with the two pickups with lots of tones to be found and used. I have a headed ‘travel’ sized jazz bass from ACG that’s 32” that I use abroad (and sometimes in the UK) when I can’t travel with my main basses. My standard is 35” but I had a go on another ACG 32” bass and that convinced me that it would/could work for my pro gigs. At first it just had the rear pickup but because of the range of music I was doing with it, I had Alan install the neck pickup and that really opened the range of tonal possibilities. What you’re looking at is a pro instrument that well made, easy to play and carry with the reach of a reduced scale (for me as I also play double bass and 35” fretless). Worth a trip/try if you’re really interested. (Or the cost of couriers which, if you agree on a return policy, is justified, I think). Again…..hope this is helpful🤞🏽🏆

rwillett started following ACG (AC Guitars) Sona 6 String

I think you are confusing me with somebody who has an inkling about what he is doing. Honoured that I am mentioned in the same sentence as real luthiers and semi-pro hobbyists, but these people know what they are talking about whereas I am merely one page away from disaster on each build. I am in awe of some of the builds on this site. No sarcasm, no irony, no snide comments from me, there are fabulous designers and builders here and I would love to have 1% of their talent. Thanks Rob

FourOnTheFloor started following Laney Digbeth preamp

Don't get me wrong, those are excellent preamps. They physically feel better quality, and the drive sounds they offer are definitely more '3D'. I just always wanted more mid control from both, and I couldn't get along with the BP's cab sim (and doesn't have an FX loop). I could have gotten around those personal dislikes by adding a couple of other pedals. The SLO with a parametric EQ would be ideal, but the Digbeth does what I need at a significantly cheaper price (for now😅).

Yamaha SLG100 Silent Guitar, steel string model in original case. Nice condition, fully working. If you're looking at this you probably know what it is, but just in cae.... Silent Guitar breaks down into a very small, convenient carry case. 9v Battery powered, has mains adaptor input too but no power supply included (or needed really, batteries last ages). Headphone output, with volume and tone controls plus 2 reverb settings. Aux input so you can play along to your fave tunes, all without disturbing the family while they watch Strictly. Perfect for hotel room practice while touring. Could be open to sensible offers. Can ship within UK only at buyers cost, (to be determined). Cost around £500 new. Thanks for looking.

Up is my TRB1006J. Recently bought a high end 6 and can't justify keeping it. It's been well looked after and had a full service and a brand new barrel jack in June. The previous owner had a ramp installed (very well I might add), there is also dunlop straplocks installed, other than that its all original. I can post but I would prefer not to, I travel quite a bit so Im always happy to try and make a meet up work. Mainly after cash, but try me for trades. Thanks

Yeah, for me too, but I do get worn out teaching 50,000 members all day.
