  1. Past hour
  2. I've got to admit I kind of want one now.
  3. Looks like the version with the full Moog circuitry.
  4. Yes they did. Called the Decade 6. It only has an 18 fret neck though which limits the upper register.
  5. Great eye - that's exactly it, thank you! I've never had my hands on one but they look fascinating. PM started on a Burns Black Bison so I can see why all the tone options would have appealed to him.
  6. Your drummer friend was incorrect. According to IMDb NP was referenced in the first episode.
  7. Could be anyone on the end of an account. If they set one up to wind people up they’re unlikely to be honest about who they are.
  8. Clue is in the word …. Don’t overthink it
  9. RD Artist?
  10. Excellent; well done. Have a look at using compression on the vocals; that'll tame the jumps in level when the hollerin' starts up. Nothing bad in there, though, it's a Good Mix.
  11. Stiff Upper Lip - AC/DC
  12. One other thing that I have just remembered. What are you going to do in sections where there are no drums in the arrangement? Unless you all as a band have an impeccable sense of rhythm and tempo, you will need some sort of guide to get you through these sections. Of course if you are using IEMs then it will be easy. You can program a click which is just sent to the IEMs. Otherwise you will need to have something that is obvious enough for you to play to but subtle enough that it doesn't ruin it for the audience. You'll also need something like this for any intros without drums. No mater how good you think your timing is. I can guarantee that any more than 2 bars without drums and you will have drifted out of sync with the drum machine. You can't start playing and hope that when you start the drum machine the band will still be playing at the same programmed tempo as the drum machine.
  13. I was watching an old 1980 Parkinson the other day and spotted Pete Morgan (with the Harry Stoneham group) playing a really unusual looking bass. A bit Thunderbirdish but not quite? This is the best view we got of it. Nice jazzy tone. Anyone have any idea what it could be? And if youv'e never admired Pete's work with Harry Stoneham or Dudley Moore - or Blossom Dearie! - now might be the moment...
  14. Pig bone? Where'd you get a pig bone?
  15. Newly acquired as part of a trade, black not usually my first choice, but I rather like this. May be I should put black nylon strings on it and it would become a stealth bass.
  16. You bastard ! You ate Harold! Now I know why the music stopped … 🥺
  17. I gotta say, I never noticed any noticeable addition to the latency for more complex signal chains with the MOD Dwarf, that’s not to say it wasn’t there but certainly wasn’t apparent. Using the channel routing as an FX loop or utilising their “Portal” blocks which allowed parallel processing to lower CPU usage at the expense of latency however had a huge impact. Was pretty essential though for using the AIDA-X captures.
  18. It's never a bad thing to seal up the cab. I usually use draughtproofing foam strip to seal my connector plates and the baffles and rear panels which on my personal cabs are just screwed and not glued. Interestingly some allowance for leakage is made when calculating the cab sizes and tuning Using a factor called Ql. WinISD defaults to Ql=7 which is what I've always done anyway and by and large the measurements on the cab come out very close to those expected. You can't seal everything and the magnetic gap in the speaker itself is almost always open but sealing things where you can is good.
  19. Today
  20. Well, it’s not selling at these prices, and the 0% Barclaycard that paid for it doesn’t need paying until July ‘27…. So I suppose it’s rude not to keep it.
  21. This is such an underrated pedal. Love mine. Good luck with the sale.
  22. This sought after set have just been pulled from my Trace Elliot V4 although they started life as a sextet in a friend's SVT II a number of years back. The remaining four are old but still working fine and have happily done the last six months in the V4 with no bias drifting, internal lightning or blown fuses but I fancied a change so have installed some brand new Linlai KT88s. You can just about make out the SED logo and other prints in the first pic. There's a 5th valve somewhere that if I find it at the time of sale, I'll also include. SED Winged C 6550C £100 posted.
