Gemini PS-626USB Pretty much brand new Apparently this is a half decent bit of kit , but I’m no DJ ! got it from the BIL who offered me a small mixer , and I had use for one, but not a DJ type with the cross fader and the like. comes with an external hard drive, USB and phono cables who will bid £0 for this remarkable opportunity to get it out of my possession.

There are lots of inconsistencies with that, starting with a 72 Fender body being that heavy. You’ve bought it from a shop which gives you rights. I’d want to know on what basis they believe it to be a legit body and neck, because these are easy to fake. There aren’t enough images of things that matter in the original for sale ad for experts to assess what it is you have. (I’m not saying it is a fake, I’d personally want so reassurance if bought what I’d paid for.)

If you were starting today, what’s the best way to learn?
Heathy replied to Useless Eustace's topic in General Discussion
If I were starting out today I would still want to learn by being in a band and learning songs because it was fun. However, an earlier knowledge of chord tones and a greater focus on developing plucking hand speed/dexterity would have been useful. -
I’ve got 4 cables here 3mtr , 5 , 7 &10 all to go , preferably all together. All NL2 connectors on them. postage a few £ but not massively worried about that. speak up for the speakon

Great sounding preamp/di, I'm having a clear out of things I don't use enough to warrant keeping and I already have a clean preamp/di that does the job for me as well as a couple of colourful sounding pre/di pedals so I really don't need this sat around as it may as well be with someone who'll be using it. It does that lovely Eden clean crisp sound, punchy and lovely. Comes with a power supply (don't think it's the original one) but I used with my voodoo lab power supply as that does 15v. Condition is very very good. Pedal is in Hope Valley (S33 6SB) if you're passing for collection or I can deliver locally, happy to post within UK.

Virtually new Fender Bassman 100 cover from Roqsolid, i got it to use while my flightcase was being manufactured so was only used briefly. Its a little dusty but will wipe. They're about £65 new + shipping Cover is in Hope Valley, happy to post within UK, probably gonna cost a tenner just for how small it doesn't fold up.

Some of you may recall that I bought a 1973 Rick 4000-to-4001 conversion from Gunnar of this parish (aka @Studio GC) a few years back. It was cool AF, mojo'd to heck (with Crue carved crudely into the top) and seriously modded. I ended up selling it on eBay to an enthusiast who wanted to convert it back to a 4000. Well, it eventually came up for sale in 2026 and I have snaffled it back. The seller did a superb restoration job on it (only missing the original wavy Grover tuners). The work he did included: adding new old stock pickguard, original pots and pickup, Hipshot USA machineheads, filling in and making good the extensive additional routing under the pickguard, and repairing the paintwork to remove Crue and to cover the newly fixed area under the pickguard.

I am tempted by the MR, but at that price point, the x32 rack looks better value to me.
-
I was thinking more of the x32 Rack rather than the Wing. My XR18 is over ten years old now, and whilst still reliable, I am tempted by the x32 simply because of two things: 1) the price, and 2) the sort of ‘industry standard’ that the x32 series has become in the smaller venue world, meaning we could use our board for our IEM’s hooking up to the venue system using AES.

How do I block individual users?
Reggaebass replied to Minininjarob's question in Site Issues and Questions
What device are you using, I think some of the settings are in different places on different things , on iPad and iPhone it’s the 3 lines top right , then account, and it brings up the ignored users option and you can add whoever you want -

This is from my Squier Sonic Bass which I have now found a replacement Rosewood fingerboard for with a wider nut to suit my old sausage fingers. When I bought the Bass a previous owner had, had the neck refinished - very professionally & added a Fender Spaghetti logo It’s a really nice neck with a fully functioning Truss Rod, level frets, original tuners & played really well with a low action all the way up the neck, but I found the nut a bit too narrow for me. However, despite not being a massive fan of Maple fingerboards - I must say that it had noticeably more ‘bark’ to the sound than a Rosewood fingerboard - even to my old ‘cloth ears’? Key Specifications regarding the neck/nut: Nut Width: 1.5" (38.1 mm) - Jazz width Nut Material: Synthetic Bone Neck Profile: Slim "C" Shape Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm) Scale Length: 34" Can post to the U.K. Mainland

No, Steve Robinson (Manchester Guitar Tech). He was only half a mile from home too. I think he packed in quite a while back, but I haven't had anything in need of a setup for a bit so didn't notice until recently.

My vote would be for the body end of the fretboard- not seen one like it and it sits nicely.
