  2. All Of My Love - The Gap Band
  3. Which one? I'm guessing the Firebird, because my Embassy which sounds lots like a Firebird is a wall-shaker! D'oh! You mean the other one... I assumed the Godin was a venue in Dorchester... 🤣
  4. I’ve loved Sheryl’s music since she first became well known. Had the pleasure of seeing her perform at Halifax Piece Hall 18 months ago and she’s still the real deal in my opinion. A great singer, guitarist, bassist and keyboard player. Her band are also one of the best I’ve seen, especially guitarists Audley Freed and Peter Stroud. Her bassist Robert Kearns is a fine player too, and was one of the first people I saw playing Reverend basses. When Sheryl plays bass she has most recently been seen using a Guild M85, although has also used many different Fenders as well. If you get chance watch ‘Live at The Capitol Theatre’ on You Tube, fabulous.
  5. What's in it for me - Amy Diamond
  6. Bought new, kept it in pedalboard since forever. Actually I’m not even removing it until it sells don’t have the original box though (I moved between places since buying). It has 3M Dual Lock Velcro underneath, and naturally is in full working order. Wasn’t stomped much - I was usually engaging it through paired DMC Micro. And on rare occasions it was - it has the button cap! Highly recommended. I can post through Royal Mail Tracking24 for 5 quid or we can arrange local pickup in London

  7. Virtually new Fender Bassman 100 cover from Roqsolid, i got it to use while my flightcase was being manufactured so was only used briefly. Its a little dusty but will wipe. They're about £65 new + shipping Cover is in Hope Valley, happy to post within UK, probably gonna cost a tenner just for how small it doesn't fold up.
  8. Good gig, weird crowd. First time out for the Godin Dorchester, an absolute beast of a bass, massive pickups, massive output, I really had to turn it down. A fun night and a long two hour set, so we were cooked by the end of it.
  9. I've had my MXR synth pedal for about a month now and I finally got the time to try it out last week 😆 It's a great pedal and so much fun. I really wanted it for the Michael Jackson presst which is great but I adore the Hdrbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder presets more. The Sledgehammer preset is also really useful. However, despite it being an awesome pedal, I don't really have much use for it. I play fretless and I'm too much of a traditionalist with my chorus, octave and bit of reverb. So mine will be up for sale soon. Brilliant pedal though and very clever.
  10. I ordered the whole lot new already, it’s worth it ! it’s too old anyway, the pots are also sticky/difficult. I know more about the pickup after dismantling it. so, the electronics are original, the serial nr indicates a special product for someone ? I’ll know more about the pickups after dismantling it. The battery is new, the output level is low. I do notice that touching the neck pickup/coils below the D and G string creates a big 50 hz hum. Which the other strings on that pickup and the bridge pickup don’t have, so some cabling could be damaged?

  12. I have one of these and they are absolutely incredible. Easily as loud as my 500w Mark Bass LM IV and pretty much silent. Really clear sounding little amp. I love mine. Good luck with the sale.
  13. I saw it too. Limelight made me one a couple of years ago and it's really good.
  14. I had this up for sale a while ago before moving house. Since then it's had a new bridge and set up. I mainly play my Eminence bass now, so it's time to let it go. Could be up for trades for a square neck tricone resonator, arch top Gibsons etc or Atkin acoustic
  15. Thanks @NickA and @SimBass really useful info. I think for at the moment, I'm just taking my EUB to an open mic/music showcase thing and playing for 20 - 30 mins so the Fishman sounds like it will be better suited for my needs. The main purpose is to act as a DI to the desk and the EQ. Having a tuner is a bonus and saves me needing to take one.
  16. Is that with the string pressed down at the highest fret or unfretted? If the latter it's probs too close. If the former then that's about right.
  17. That's just my point. Never mind the crackles, pops, etc. What does the music sound like? Look, I get it. You don't like vinyl. That's fine. Others of us do. We're happy for you not to. Why can you not be content for us to like it without trying to prove you're in the right and we're wrong?
  18. Wasn’t planning on letting mine go, at least not yet anyway.
  19. Do not underestimate this make of pickups, Delano are excellent,
  20. Open to sensible offers, I need some space to free up
  21. I got these in a job lot but I dont play left handed so up for sale One of the tuners has had a replacement chrome wind but works well Price to include postage
