Its a shame that there isn't a more powerful (or at least more core'd version of the dwarf, as they had stopped the ModX near the end. And a better display but however good it was, I don't think that most people were ready for that level of flexibility. I do feel if they had made the software development environment a bit friendlier, they would have had a lot more of a headsup in the market.
-
But I don't think there's a Moog in the set, I think it's a downsized version of his normal rig maybe?

Anyone solder wires into mains plugs?
tauzero replied to Steve Browning's topic in Repairs and Technical
There is one improvement that could be made. Just make the pins retractable so they swivel flat when the plug is extracted, and with a button on the top to swivel them into place for insertion. This removes the issue of stepping on three vicious pins when in bare feet causing pain, or in shoes causing damage to the plug. -
I’m tempted. I actually bought Slate Mix Bundle One (the original Virtual Mix Rack) for £44. It is kinda fun, though in 2025 it does seem a bit dated though I bought because I remember thinking it was an almost revolutionary plugin when my ex band’s producer demonstrated it to us in 2015 Do I really more EQ and compressors and amp sims? No. Am I tempted? Yes.

There is this EBS Session 120 in the ads here for £100 and the seller is "willing" to send it. You can't go wrong with this combo:

Hot In The City - Billy Idol

I don't think I can top being spat on. I remember playing a club where they put us in a separate room with no bar. The clientle were in their early 20s. They would walk into the room we were playing in and immediately take an " about face" and walk out. Lol Daryl

You might be right Pete. Wiki has been wrong in the past. Daryl

Thanks. I'm still the third best singer in a trio though 😂

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
Bluewine replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
Dave,Some venues like Harley might pay them by direct deposit a month prior to the gig.The BL and Band Manager pay us with their own money. I'm sure this is very rare. It's really very nice. I'm always handed a pay envelope when I get in the van. Dave, it's kind of cool. I've played in bands in the past who handled money very poorly. Here's a sad story. I was actually in sort of a Glam band in the early 2000s. We played Shank Hall in Milwaukee ( referenced in the 1st Spinal Tap movie ). We took in $900.00 in cash. The BL didn't pay any of us and he kept all the money . The band broke up a few days later. Dary -
pantherairsoft started following Iron Ether Super Frantabit

Super rare Iron Ether Super FrantaBit - basically two FranaBits in one box, with foot switches to flip flop between them both, as well as switch between Degrade and Obliterate mode. One of the most versatile and sought after Bit Crushers ever made. Grab this now, without the painfully long wait, shipping, and a massive VAT bill when it arrives in the UK! Selling this to buy a Hologram Microcosm (had one, massive regrets over selling it), but will consider the following trades/part-exs: Hologram Microcosm, Red Panda Tensor, Triungolo Barbanera. Iron Ether Polytope, Iron Ether Xerograph, Providence Anadime Bass Chorus, Ibanez Ashula SRAS7 (Dragon Eye Burl finish).

Dave, Jenny is band leader, her husband is our manager. They started the band back in 2007, might have been 2005. Their concept and idea. Daryl -
Dave, I did a little research on Bobby. I'm 7 years older then him. I was born in 1954. Bobby was born in 1961. Dang, I'm older than guys I thought were " old guys". lol He passed in 2021. I think he did a lot for very little credit. Daryl

Well that would certainly rule me out of any auditions on several points Daryl but whatever works is good.😂 Its funny how different bands have different ideas on doing things. The one that jumps out most and i'm very curious about is "you'll be paid in cash PRIOR to every gig". We don't get paid until we finsih the gig altho sometimes people pay us as soon as we arrive or at half time. Are the venues paying you upfront ? I've never heard of this before. Dave -
