  2. The 'Back To Oakland' album - Tower of Power with Rocco right in the pocket:
  3. Oo! In that case I'll take two of them.
  4. Google translate strikes again. With apologies if the intended humour has just gone over my head, I’ll defend the seller’s entirely appropriate use of the German word Koffer in this context to mean hard case (as well as its more common meaning of suitcase). Though maybe I shouldn’t be tangling with someone with self-confessedly big hands…
  5. I bought this so that I could run both outputs of my Yamaha Attitude into it at the same time. However, I’m using my Spector into a B7k for pretty much everything now so I’ve taken this off my board. It’s very flexible, the ability to dial clean tone back into your signal means no bottom end loss. Comes with original box and instructions. Has a couple of very small paint chips, which I’ve tried to capture in the photos, but works perfectly. Has Velcro on the underside. Price includes UK Mainland postage
  6. That'll be £3000 please, Sir.
  7. Yup, the Thames Water relic edition awaits your delectation .....
  8. Ibanez RGA42HPT Laser Blue Matte DiMarzio Fusion Edge HH 24F Double Locking Complete with fitted Ibanez case & straplocks. Some chips around bottom edge (see photos) this guitar has been well loved and played but now not being used & need to ‘thin the herd’ Pickup from Grantham preferred, would possibly meet depending on distance & happy to look at shipping (uk only) via TNT at cost.
  9. TRB1005j reminds me ive not played it enough recently..
  10. Recently added a Darkglass B7k to my board, so this is surplus to requirements. In good condition, works perfectly. Gives a nice vintage tone as you would expect, but can also get very gnarly. Has Velcro on the bottom. Comes with the original box and instruction sheet. Price includes mainland UK postage
  11. Three John Mayall CDs on the US Forty Below label. Played once or unplayed. All well reviewed, The Sun is Going Down features guest guitarists like Mike Campbell and Carolyn Wonderland. £16 posted UK. Now £14

  12. Strict Machine - Goldfrapp
  13. Very well put together US-published book of in-depth interviews with guitarists based on a TV documentary. Refreshingly, not all are the usual suspects. Rarely seen here. 300 pages, very good condition. £13 posted UK. Now just £10
  14. This is as hard-hitting as Lucinda’s songs, and to be frank it’s a wee bit too honest. But that makes it compelling reading, so if you like her music it’s a solid investment. If you don’t know who she is, consult YouTube immediately… Hardback, very good condition. RRP £20, yours for £13 posted. Now just £11.
  15. For anyone who hasn’t heard this, it’s superb, good luck mickey
  16. A brilliant combo at a great price!
  17. Can I get one in a colonic mucus brown burst over fractal swirls with a rhino horn scratchplate?
  18. Love Is The Law - The Seahorses
  19. Mahler and Elgar (amongst others) didn't seem to know the normal range of a double bass 😂. I doubt extensions existed back then either. I've had to retune to DADG or CGDG on occasion ..a friend has a BEADG 5 string which is the best way to go. Extensions are awkward and ugly imo. No fan of Mahler anyway. But T&G Martin make some lovely basses ..if yr loaded enough.
  20. As would the nice paint job eventually!
  21. Well that's it.... the final gig in Pakistan for me and a big farewell to all my musician buddies here. Played with three of my bands tonight (singer away in the fourth unfortunately), a bit of bass and a bit of drums. Punk, 80s cover and Hendrix/blues. All my gear packed away so hired a drum kit and borrowed basses. It was a great jam and very emotional. Fly out of here tomorrow. Hopefully will find some equally amazing musicians in Riga but will miss these guys.
  22. When I read the title of this thread, then read the content of the OP, I thought it was @NancyJohnson's career that was over. I thought you'd been served legal papers, not served by someone at a till/counter. 😂 It wasn't until reading the replies I understood the OP a little better. I have nothing to add to the thread aside from the above. Have a great evening everyone. Mark
  23. As far as I know this is a original example. My knowledge is limited, so please feel free to correct me if necessary. (Astrays & thumb rest probably not) It weighs in at 11lb which is too much now in my advancing years but it sounds immense and is a pleasure to play with the 'A' neck if that floats your boat. Check out the photos,. I can ship in a hard case including UK postage. Trades considered.

  25. I used to take lessons from Randy back in the mid-80’s on Ling Island, NY. He had the Explorer-style Fodera pictured above , but mostly played a 60’s purple-finished Fender Jazz bass. He was an amazing player. I think all the other basses shown and mentioned came a bit later.
