I have decided to sell my combo as I barely use it. It was a bit of an impulse purchase around 6 months back that I don't really need as I mostly use my separates. It sounds great, very light and with the removal of 4 screws, the head can be removed and to my great surprise, the amp has a lid, so it can be used separately. I t's a great super lightweight setup with great Markbass tone, and this is the 500W version and not the 300W version that is out there. Its 300W at 8ohm and the full 500W with an additional cab - it is very loud on it's own. It comes with a bonus Markbass channel pedal and mute footswitch and also a Roqsolid cover which has a pocket. Being only 6 months old it's still under warranty. No issues and in fabulous condition. £550 - Collection from Plymouth ideally but happy to discuss couriers at cost to the buyer.

Well sure, but I think that still involves some critical thinking/reverse engineering, no? And I would think what you're talking about is still beyond most people. Example: I've tried to get an LLM to spit out some code for an audio thing I wanted to do, and no, it didn't work, and furthermore, no, I didn't know how to fix it 😂

Alice in Chains - Man in the box bass tone - Mike Starr

Hello guys, I’ve upgraded to a Fender Rumble 100 and added an Ampeg Opto Comp. Still using the same bass and the Zoom as well. Thanks again for all the advice. Any updated tips on settings or tricks with this kind of rig? -
I’m going to be charitable and assume that you’re not some weirdo deviant and would have borrowed the filthy item from a guitard? And used gloves

EBS UniChorus (Studio Edition) - bypassed at switch on?
Chris Hales replied to Chris Hales's topic in Effects
Thanks for confirming. It is annoying but at least I don't have to worry that my unit is faulty in some way! Confusingly, the EBS Octabass powers up in bypass which iswhat got me wondering aboutthe UniChrous. It is a very nice sounding chorus but doesn't really shine when battery powered. I've noticed once the battery voltage drops a bit the chorus gets quite "lumpy". Now I've got it 9V powered I'm liking it even more. -

For a FSO-type Sei, the basic options will include body, neck and fingerboard woods, pickups/circuit and hardware colour. The quickest way to bump the price up is to add exotic woods, LEDs and expensive pickups/preamps. Not sure what the "base" level pickups are these days, it always used to be Kent Armstrongs.

We are all individuals! ..not sure the link works... But it's the 'Life of Brian' ... we are all individuals.... I'm not! ....bit! trying for humour.. but might have failed!? .. 🤔😊

I'm relocating away from the area so we're currently looking for new bassist to join Peterborough Big Band after the summer (depending on moving dates!) Peterborough Big Band have been running for over 40 years and play an eclectic mixture of big band arrangements from 1940s swing right through to arrangements of modern pop classics and everything in between. Roughly 50:50 instrumental:vocal Looking for a committed bassist who can make weekly Thursday evening rehearsals. We don't have a lot of paid gigs, but we do a regular evening in the "Brewery Tap" function room in the centre of Peterborough roughly 5 times throughout the year. You need to be able to play from music dots and also be able make up your own lines (often walking bass) from a chords (80-90% of charts are fully written out music) I play bass guitar and double bass (depending on the tune) but double bass is absolutely not a requirement. Great bunch of people. Any questions, let me know. Or come and see our next gig on the 12th of Feb at the Brewery Tap, Peterborough. Links below are from one of our 'Brewery Tap' gigs from a couple of years ago. Awful lighting but you get the idea. JPJ started following '63 Jazz Refret
-
There are only three people up here in the North East of England who I would trust with refretting any bass, let alone a genuine 1963 Jazz bass; 1) Paul Richardson at PR Guitars (Facebook only, looks like his website is down) 2) Gary at Sylva Guitars 3) Dave Wilson (again, Facebook only) But, all three are incredibly busy so expect a wait.

Cheers Aidan, I did see that post. Whilst the collection and return seems appealing, on research some folk complained about the quality of refret work. I have dealt with MOR over 20yrs ago when I lived in York and had no issues regarding buying/selling. The company have no presence in York, I believe now based in Selby. End of the day, I just want the Jazz sorted. I'm not bothered about the retaining the originality of the bass, it's a refin anyway but it's a keeper. Ian

whynot started following ASHDOWN RM-500-EVO III Amp
-
Hi All, My Ashdown amp is for sale due to repurchasing an amp I sold on here last year, so I have enough amps. It's the current model and purchased new last year. Last gigged this past Saturday and sounding monstrous through my Barefaced 2x12. I noticed it could do with a wipe on the casing after I took the photos. There's no scratches or dents to the casing. Always protected when transported. Looking for £400 posted or £385 cash on collection. Thanks for looking.
