  2. This was on my board for a few years, never let me down but just fancied a change so I’ve got a boss chorus on the board now. The toneprint options make it a pretty versatile pedal, found myself mostly using the Duff McKagan toneprint. No original box for this unfortunately but will be packaged securely. Price includes postage in the UK, cheers

  6. Love Song - The Cure
  7. Hi Sean Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated 👍
  8. Be absolutely sure your potential dand mates have the same idea on what constitutes "acoustic" before you get too far into it. Many an acoustic guitar has been played at earsplitting volume ime.
  9. Have you had a change to play them yet? I've not really played DiMarzio, it would be interesting to get your take.
  10. Gigged with Fury several times about 10 years back, but that was before Becky's time. Great band. Even had to share sleeping space upstairs from a pub in Coleford with them! Becky's a good player and a great bass ambassador, and she's brought them some valuable additional publicity.
  11. My 400+ is poorly and needs to visit the Amp Hospital, it's tripping out the socket circuit at home 🫣. So, it is highly unlikely it'll be ready to go to the SW Bass Bash by 12th October. I wonder if anyone else has a 400+ that they could take to Taunton. Saying that, who's going to bring an 800D?
  12. So I got the amber LG3005 above from E Sharp and now have a pair of Roscoes. I've owned some wonderful instruments over the years and for me, this brand has been amongst the very best.
  13. It's good to know Fair Deal has responded accordingly.
  14. I've owned a 425x and a 2025x, and I've played a 1025x. the 1025x shares components including pickups with 2025x and has a similar/same sound because of that. I picked up a 425x as a gigging backup to the 2025x at a very good price, hardly ever played it but it was a worthy instrument and excellent quality. The 1025x is of similar quality to the 425x i.e. excellent as most Yamaha basses are but sounds different due to the pickups. Yamaha is generally good at differentiation of different levels of instruments and nailed it with this series. Each step up in price delivers a step up in what you get. The 1025x is the bang for buck instrument in this case especially if you can find a good one used in a private sale.

  17. Hate Song - The Haunted
  18. It's a Cort B4 Plus AS RM bass. Tested with multiple different pedals and amps, it repeats the same issue with all of them.
  19. On 'Electric Man' I played both my Squier Classic Vibe bass VI and Gibson Les Paul Standard, using a dunlop 1.3mm prime tone pick. The Bass VI was recorded into logic plugged straight into my focusrite interface, and I played the Les Paul using a tasty Fender Princeton model on my Fender Mustang GTX100 amp which was recorded via the GTX100's built-in USB interface. Logic's Scientific Method + kit was used for the drums. Logic's ES2 and RetroSyn, synths combined to make the pad sound using the cosmic departure and aurora borealis patches. Logic's Q sampler was used for the Lo-Fi Acid arpeggio.
  20. People who have two first names, eg Benjamin Sebastian. That gets really confusing when you read their names in a surname first list and then ring them up and call them by their surnames.
