wateroftyne Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Hi everyone. Got together with @warwickhunt, @cd_david and Tim yesterday for a bit of a plunk and natter. Here's some pics. 11 Quote
cd_david Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Another fun day of basses, brews and biscuits (fig rolls and ginger snaps for the curious) 😋 A few from my phone. 6 Quote

DGBass Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago A Basschat Mini-Meet. What a great idea! Love the Mesa road ready rig, thats proper room filling bass amplification imho 🙂 1 Quote
chris_b Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Wow, deja vu all over again. . . . I gigged a Mesa Boogie 400+ (then an Ampeg SVT 3 PRO) into a Road Ready 210EV and Road Ready 115EV for many years. What a great sound. Then my back gave out and I've been hurting ever since!! I have mixed feelings about that rig, but I miss that sound. 1 Quote

Boogie made two versions. The Diesel cabs were the usual black vinyl, while the Road Ready series were effectively built into flight cases that had a removable front. 1 1 Quote

Not light by any means but worth the effort 🤪 I can imagine! The bit of my brain that manages low back pain is screaming "NO!!!!" but I'm just overriding those negative thoughts as they look so cool. Even if I didn't gig them, they'd look good in the corner of my practice room. 1 Quote

Mine weighed around 90lbs each and were brilliant until my back gave out. Putting them into a studio would be a great idea. Quote
snorkie635 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago That G&L looks luverly. (Not to detract from some of the others on display here) Drool, slaver! Quote

It’s amazing isn’t it, the weight of the gear that we used to have to cart about. 1 Quote
warwickhunt Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Your pics make my 12 string look 'normal' sized! LOL 1 Quote

Skybone Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Ooh, a lovely collection of basses. Love the Ibanez Musicians, especially the 8 string. And that 4005 is lovely. 1 Quote
