I don't like pointy basses as a rule, but there's something about the Explorer shape that I really like. Seeing some familiar faces, meeting some new ones, the fantastic looking kit list (and this year I feel like I've finally got something worth showing too!). It's not silly at all - test fitting the Explorer in the front seat was as much preparation for the upcoming road trip as it was the general practicality of getting the damn thing to rehearsals/gigs!
