silverfoxnik Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 Hi Folks, I was bidding on a 1x10 cab on Ebay but it was a 'collection only' auction with the seller being based in Bath, so way too far for me to get to.. So, not to be outdone I duly put a post up on Basschat asking for help and almost immediately, Dave aka 'TheRev' offered to pick up the cab and help ship it to me.. Anyway, I won the auction and Dave very kindly went and picked up the cab and parcelled it up immaculately, ready for collection. Needless to say, it arrived here completely safe & sound! As if that isn't enough, going back a couple of years, I bought a Peavey Sessionbass head from Dave (possibly in Bassworld days..) and he virtually delivered it to my door, on his way back from a gig over in East Sussex, saving me loads of time and postage! So, I just wanted to thank Dave and say he is just about one of the nicest people you're ever likely to meet! And he typifies what Basschat is all about IMHO.. I cannot believe, however, that he has no feedback since 2009, despite the pretty things for sale every day on BassChat.He must have a will of iron!
