djc63
Yes it’s a kickass 5. I didn’t realise quite how much larger than the 4 string version they are until it arrived in the post and I almost sent it back. I’ve subsequently acquired a used hip shot A style bridge so may change it at some point.

BassAgent
I was always a bit hesitant about graphite basses and necks, but the neck on my new Sterling...it's amazing.
legalbass
Status Graphite B-2, ordered in June and received a couple weeks ago. Requested with the original neck fitting and pickup positions; this is a huge, heavy monster of a bass guitar but I love it :}
Wolverinebass
I appreciate that this is a long shot. Does anyone have a 34 inch bass with 16.5mm string spacing? If so, obviously not until this lockdown is over, would it be possible to have a go on it? You'd be free to have a go on any of mine (the last ever Buzzard anyone?!!) should you wish to. So, if you have said bass and live somewhere near SE London or Kent you're more than welcome (when conditions allow) to pop over for a coffee and play some insane basses. Send me a PM if you're interested. Edited November 22, 2020 by Wolverinebass
yorks5stringer
Just been sent a photo of me playing at the Duchess in Leeds, the Status Groove 5 string I had in the 90's . I chopped in a Jaydee Roadie Supernatural for it from the shop in Castleford, now long gone. Not the best picture but wanted to make a contribution to the thread...

Rehsart
@bassfan I asked Rob for soap bar mics with 2 way switching, single / dual coil to have even more sound possibilities. I did not ask for the LEDs, I am not a fan and it allowed me to take a through-neck instead of a bolt on

The CW model has a wooden body too, it's made of alder but with woven graphite facings. In essence the CW is based on the S2 Classic with a few custom features. You're probably thinking of the Stealth model or the old S2000 models Edited March 19, 2021 by LeftyJ

For reference it weighs 8lb 6oz (exactly the same as my Stingray Special 4HH in fact). Edited March 19, 2021 by Deedee

I was hoping it (the CW) might make a light 6 string. 4kilo for a 4 isn't bad (average) but as a 6 would probably be well over 5 kilo. Anyway Your looks a lovely 4 Edited March 19, 2021 by BoomTing
