Been trying to get this since it's release but the whole not exporting from Japan thing was a killer. Eventually one came up used and I got it. It's a Fender JB62/FCH which is basically their 62 Jazz Bass in silver sparkle but with a factory fitted Babicz. In addition it's had an Aguilar obp-1 preamp fitted, a stacked volume pot, EMG quick access battery compartment, mirror pickguard and a hipshot drop tuner. Came well setup, frets polished and to be honest it was a lot better than it was described. All in all a great buy and import charges weren't that bad. Here's a couple of quick pictures. As gary mac says; it's not a bass to be hiding at the back of the stage with.... I'd been looking at this for a while and was not about to pay £1099 that a store was asking for them to import it in. Then a used one popped up and I managed to get it. Was gonna put it back to passive but now I'm thinking I'll keep it as is. Think I will keep an eye on their site as there's a few other used basses I like the look of.
